2025 SUBSIDIES AIMED TO SUPPORT THE INTERNATIONAL MARKETING AND PROMOTION OF THE PROVINCIAL TOURISM SECTOR

Official description of the call

ANNOUNCEMENT First: Beneficiaries Small and Medium-Sized Tourism Enterprises (SMEs) may apply for these aid, regardless of their legal form, whose registered office is in the province of Jaén or have an operational establishment there and that meet any of the following requirements, either registration or annotation in the Andalusian Tourism Registry: 1. That they are registered as: a. Tourist accommodation establishments: Hotel establishments, rural houses, rural tourism complexes, tourist apartments, camping and motorhome overnight areas. b. Active tourism organizing companies. c. Tourism Guide. 2. That have been subject to annotation in any of the following tourist services not developed by regulation: a. Ecological tourism or ecotourism. b. Organization of conferences, conventions or other types of business events. 3. That have been subject to annotation in any of the following activities with an impact on the tourism field: a. Activities aimed at providing reception services to tourist users. b. Activities related to the knowledge of the Spanish language by foreigners. c. Tourism service intermediation activities not included in letter b) of section 1 of article 28 of Law 13/2011, of December 23, on Tourism of Andalusia. d. Tourist transport, buses, horse carriages, bicycle rental or others. In accordance with the Recommendation of the EU Commission of 6 May 2003, 250 persons and whose annual turnover does not exceed 50 million euros or whose annual balance sheet does not exceed 43 million euros. Groups of natural or legal persons, communities of property or any other type of economic unit or separate assets, lacking their own legal personality, may not apply for these subsidies. Second: Object. Regulate subsidies from the Promotion and Tourism Area, within the framework of the Budget for the year 2025, to support the international marketing and promotion of the provincial tourism sector. Third: Regulatory bases. Bases for Execution of the General Budget of the Provincial Council of Jaén for the year 2025 (BOP, number 250, of December 30, 2024). Fourth: Amount. Total amount: 20,000.00 ¿ Subsidy amount: 80% of the final cost of eligible expenses. The final amount may not exceed that indicated in Article 7 of the Call, taking into account the country where the event is held. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications. It will begin on the day following the date of publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Province and will end on September 30, 2025. Sixth. Other information of interest. The expenses and actions to be subsidized will refer to marketing and promotion actions for participation in the fairs, trade missions and professional conferences indicated in Article 5 of the Call. Each company may request financial aid for participation in a maximum of three marketing and promotion actions (fairs, trade missions or professional conferences), submitting one application for each marketing and promotion action. The following are considered expenses eligible for subsidy: Accommodation and travel, with the following conditions: o Accommodation: on a bed and breakfast basis. From the day before the start of the event until the day it ends. o Travel: only expenses incurred by plane, train and intercity bus will be accepted. Registration fees for trade missions and professional conferences. Only expenses related to the attendance of one person per company will be eligible. Eligible expenses: These are those provided for in article 21 of the Call. Compatibility: Yes. Documentation: That provided for in Article 10 of the Call. Payment method: The subsidy will be made in a single payment, after justifying the expense incurred. Execution Period: From January 1 to December 31, 2025. Form of justification: It will be necessary to present the documentation indicated in Article 23 of the call. Maximum justification period: Until March 31, 2026.
