Rules for the call and granting of subsidies to non-profit sports associations for the year 2025

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3b and 20.8a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the national subsidy database http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index and on the website of the Legutio town hall http://www.legutio.eus Objective To collaborate within budgetary limits, to the financing of expenses incurred by sports activities promoted by duly legalized associations and clubs, for the year 2025, within the municipal sphere or that may be considered of interest to it. Beneficiaries Non-profit associations and clubs that have their registered office in the municipality of Legutio and are legally constituted and registered may be beneficiaries of these subsidies. Associations and clubs that have obtained a nominative subsidy from this city council for the year 2025 will only be able to justify expenses in this subsidy in the period between July and December 2025, both inclusive. Applicants who meet the circumstances established in that sense in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, may not be beneficiaries of the subsidy. Eligible activities The expenses incurred by the organization of activities framed in the sports programs proposed by the sports clubs or associations and aimed at the population or municipality where they are located, with a specific calendar to be carried out in the year 2025. It will not be eligible, that is, it will be outside the calculation of the eligible expense, the expense for food, drink, transportation (such as travel for training or on the occasion of sports events) and everything that the city council's culture and sports commission of Legutio considers appropriate. Criteria for granting a subsidy The subsidies will be voluntary, and consequently there will be no obligation to assign financial aid to all applications that are submitted and comply with the bases of this call. The assessment criteria for awarding subsidies will be the following: a) Public or social interest of the project or program of activities, as well as the proposed objectives. b) Project or activities whose implementation affects the different towns of the municipality and promotes the development of cultural and sports activities in their terms. c) The stability and solvency of the requesting entity and the continuity of the program presented. d) The participation in the activities that are the object of the project or program, of people outside the promoting entity on equal terms with its members. e) The means that can be presented (infrastructure, materials and personnel) to guarantee the development of this program through the subsidy. f) Contribution of the program or activity to the dissemination of Basque. Amount The subsidies will depend on the cost of the program and the resources available to partially cover it, it being important and to be taken into account that the promoter can generate its own resources or through other public administrations. The total calculation of the subsidies will depend on the budget limits set for the year 2025. The maximum amount that will be subsidized per association or sports club will be 9,000.00 euros. Applications, deadline and place of submission Subsidy applications will be submitted to the electronic headquarters of the Legutio town hall, at www.legutio.eus. The deadline for submitting applications and complementary documentation will be 30 calendar days from the day following the publication of the call in the BOTHA. When the application form or the mandatory documentation that accompanies it suffers from any error or is incomplete, the interested parties will be given a period of ten days, counting from the day following the notification of the requirement, to correct the detected defects, after which, and if these have not been corrected, they will be considered to withdraw from their request, archiving the procedure. Each association may only submit one application.
