Aid to promote public transport for young students of Cornellà del Terri

Official description of the call

First.- Purpose The purpose of these rules is to regulate the call for the granting of aid aimed at promoting and facilitating the use of public transport (TEISA) among young students of Cornellà del Terri, within the limits established in the municipal budgets. The subsidies object of this call are, for all purposes, public law expenses, they are discretionary, voluntary and contingent, they do not generate any right to obtain other subsidies in subsequent years nor can they be invoked as precedent. The procedure for its granting will be processed under a non-competitive competition regime, in accordance with article 22 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Second.- Regulatory bases The specific regulatory bases of the aid object of this call were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 75, of April 17, 2025, and in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat of Catalonia number 9403, of April 30, 2025, and came into force on June 12, 2025.https://ssl4.ddgi.cat/bopV1/pdf/2025/75/20257503286.pdf Third.- Beneficiaries Natural persons who prove they meet the following requirements will be eligible for the subsidy: · Be registered in Cornellà del Terri. · Be between 16 and 25 years old. · Be enrolled in higher education (understood as: Baccalaureate, training cycles, university, master's, postgraduate, PFI, IFE). Fourth.- Credit amount of the budget application for the year 2025: 4411-48044 Public transport aid for non-compulsory studies, for an amount of 13,000.00 euros. The procedure for granting these subsidies is governed by the non-competitive competition regime until the budget application credit is exhausted. In the event that the attendance of beneficiaries exhausts the planned budget credit, the City Council may increase the maximum amount detailed above through the corresponding budget modification up to a maximum of €20,000.00. The maximum amount per student is 100 euros. Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications and eligible period The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty business days from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona. The aid is granted after justification of the journeys made during the 2025-2026 academic year. That is, the period of execution of the subsidized activity will be, in general, from September 2025 to June 2026. Sixth.- Documents and information that must accompany the application The applications will be submitted through a standardized instance to participate in the call, which must clearly state the intention to opt for aid for travel by public transport for students. The following documentation must be attached: · Copy of the applicant's ID. · Copy of the course registration fee. · The bank transfer request form or bank certificate must be attached. The account holder must be the same person who requests the subsidy. Seventh.- Competent resolution body The competent body for subsidy resolution is the Local Government Board. Eighth.- Resolution period The maximum period to resolve the call is the one determined by the rules. Once this period has passed without a resolution, applicants may consider their applications rejected due to administrative silence. Ninth.- Means of notification Once this period has passed without a resolution having been adopted, applicants may understand that their applications have been rejected due to administrative silence. The resolution must be notified to each beneficiary individually within a maximum period of ten days after the date on which it was adopted. Notifications will be made by any means that allows the City Council to have proof that the interested party or their legal representative has received the resolution, as well as the date, identity and content of the administrative act, without prejudice to the obligation to publicize the subsidies granted, in accordance with the provisions of the general subsidy regulations.
