Call for the granting of subsidies to entities that carry out social activities in Santa Cristina d'Aro, for the year 2025

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries Duly accredited social entities that meet the conditions established in the corresponding call may participate in the call for the subsidies covered by these rules. Non-profit associations or entities from any social field that meet the following requirements may qualify for this call: That their statutory objectives must be related to the purpose of the aid for which they opt. The interested entities or associations will have to carry out the project and/or activity in the municipality of Santa Cristina de Aro. That they carry out non-profit activities. That they have a perfectly defined project with: activity report, income and expense budget. The following are also requirements that the recipient entities must meet to obtain the subsidy: Meet the objective and execute the activity. Justify compliance with the requirements and conditions, as well as the performance of the activity and the fulfillment of the purpose that determine the granting or enjoyment of the subsidy. Submit to the verification actions to be carried out by the responsible body, if applicable, and to any other verification and financial control that may be carried out by the competent control bodies, both national and community, providing all the information required in the exercise of the above actions. Inform the City Council, at any time and in any case before justifying the application of funds, of obtaining other subsidies, aid and income or resources that finance the subsidized activities. Have the accounting books, completed records and other documents duly audited in accordance with the commercial and sectoral legislation applicable to the beneficiary in each case, as well as all the financial statements and specific records required by the specific regulatory bases. Preserve the supporting documents for the application of the funds received, including electronic documents, as long as they can be subject to verification and control actions. Expressly state the financial support of the Santa Cristina d'Aro City Council in any event, advertising or dissemination of the programs, activities, investments or actions that are the subject of a subsidy. Reintegrate the funds received in the cases contemplated in the applicable legislation. Not being in love due to legal incompatibility. It will not apply in the following cases: When you are not up to date with compliance with tax or Social Security obligations imposed by current provisions. When it has been sanctioned by a final resolution with loss of the possibility of obtaining subsidies according to the General Subsidies Law (38/2003, of November 17), or the General Tax Law. To entities that have been sentenced by a final judgment to the penalty of losing the possibility of obtaining subsidies or public aid. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to grant an economic subsidy with the purpose of financing projects and/or activities to social entities that operate in the municipality, in accordance with the specific bases approved by the Plenary Session of the Santa Cristina de Aro City Council in the ordinary session held on July 29, 2025, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona. 151, of August 8, 2025. Projects and/or activities of entities that aim to promote and improve the quality of life of people and their families, address social needs, promote equal opportunities and non-discrimination may be subsidized, as well as those that propose preventive or assistance projects and/or activities in relation to situations of deprivation or social problems, which are complementary to existing public ones. The amount will vary depending on the expenses incurred by the entities to carry out the projects and/or activities. The procedure for this grant will be through competitive competition. Third. Regulatory bases This call will be governed by the specific regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies to entities that carry out social actions in the municipality of Santa Cristina d'Aro for the financial year 2025, published in the Official Bulletin
