Advance call for subsidies to the entities and associations of popular and traditional Catalan culture of the Girona regions, within the framework of the "Identities, relationships and traditions" program of the Provincial Council of Girona - academic year 2026-2027

Official description of the call

First. Description of the call Resolution of December 2, 2025, of the Governing Board, approving the advance call for subsidies for entities and associations of popular and traditional Catalan culture in the Girona regions, within the framework of the "Identities, roots and traditions" program, of the Diputació de Girona? academic year 2026-2027 Second. Beneficiaries Catalan popular and traditional culture entities and associations located in the Girona regions may apply for the grants covered by these rules. Each entity or association of popular and traditional Catalan culture must have individualized pedagogical proposals for one or more educational levels. Educators from entities and associations of popular and traditional Catalan culture must accredit, at least, a degree related to the study of popular culture or a degree in primary education or pedagogy, or three years' experience in education in the field of popular culture. The Provincial Council of Girona will select the proposals presented taking into account the criteria detailed in article 9 of these bases. The end user is the students of the educational centers in the Girona regions who participate in the workshops of the entities and associations of popular and traditional Catalan culture that have been previously selected in accordance with these bases and through a public call. The subsidy will be applied as a discount on the cost of the activities. To obtain the status of beneficiaries of the subsidies, applicants must meet the general requirements and conditions established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (LGS). Third. I obtain subsidies for entities and associations of popular and traditional Catalan culture in the Girona regions, within the framework of the "Identities, roots and traditions" program of the Girona Provincial Council, aimed at financing pedagogical activities for educational centers in the Girona regions. Room. Regulatory bases Regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the entities and associations of popular and traditional Catalan culture in the Girona regions, within the framework of the "Identities, roots and traditions" program, of the Provincial Council of Girona, approved by the Plenary Session of the Provincial Council of Girona on October 21, 2025, initially published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOPG) no. 207, of October 30, 2025. Fifth. Amount The estimated amount allocated to the call is 30,000.00 euros. The budget applications to which the budget credit is applied and the amounts are as follows: Year Budget application Amount (in €) 2026 300/33400/4810100 - Aid to cultural industries "Identitats" program €1,000.00 2027 300/33400/4810100 - Aid to non-profit entities “Identitats” program €29,000.00 Total €30,000.00 Also linked to this call, for the years 2026 and 2027, is the application 300/33400/4790300, with an estimated expense that is initially zero. The distribution of these amounts is estimated, and may be redistributed among previous budget applications in the same act of granting the subsidies. In order to meet a greater number of subsidy applications or to grant a greater amount of subsidies, this credit may be expanded with an additional amount of a maximum of 25,000.00 euros, derived from leftover credits from other calls. The effectiveness of the additional amount will be conditional on the corresponding declaration of credit availability, prior to the resolution of the subsidies and the approval of the increase in the call. Sixth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications begins the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOPG and ends on January 30, 2026. Applications must be formulated using the standardized model available on the Diputació de Girona website, accompanied by the documentation established in article 7 of the regulatory bases. The applications, duly completed and digitally signed by the interested person or by whoever legally represents the entity, will be presented through the Provincial Council's subsidy platform.
