Extract from the Agreement of the Research Commission of the University of Alcalá of July 7, 2026, by which the Predoctoral Contracts for the Training of University Teachers 2026 are convened BDNS: 919022 In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the extract of the call whose full text can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries. People who are in possession of a university degree and who are carrying out or are going to carry out official doctoral studies at the University of Alcalá and who meet, on the closing date of the application submission period, the requirements indicated in point 2 of the call. Second. Object. The objective of this program is to promote the teaching training that must be carried out by its beneficiaries, in compatibility with research training, through the completion of a doctoral thesis within a Doctoral Program of this University, in the areas of knowledge specified in the call to facilitate their future incorporation into the Spanish higher education system as university professors, and that contributes to the improvement or specialization of predoctoral training both in the predoctoral phase and, where appropriate, in the orientation phase. postdoctoral. Third. Regulatory bases. Amount. The remuneration of the predoctoral contract will be that which corresponds in accordance with the national regulations in force. The total amount budgeted for the year 2026, to finance the expenses derived from this call, together with the economic rights derived from calls for previous annuities, the Call for Predoctoral Contracts for the Training of Research Personnel 2026 (BDNS Code: 917864), is 2,176,858 euros, and will be financed from the budget application 30400M000.541.A 640.06. Fifth. Deadline and submission of applications. The deadline for submitting applications will be between September 1 and 30, 2026, both inclusive. The application form will be completed electronically through the “Calls” option available on the Research Staff Portal. Sixth. Other data. The duration of the contract will be one year, with full-time dedication from the date indicated in the resolution. The contract may be extended for annual periods for the duration of your stay in the doctoral program. In no case may the accumulated duration of the initial contract plus extensions exceed 4 years, except for the exceptions indicated in article 21 of the LCTI. Seventh. Awards and selection criteria The accepted applications will be evaluated by the competitive concurrence procedure by an Evaluation Commission made up of doctoral researchers or professors and researchers who meet the status of vocal members of the Research Commission of the University of Alcalá.
