Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database https://www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/ First. Beneficiaries. 1. Companies that are considered SME or large company in the industrial sector, which develop as their main activity, any of the activities whose CNAE 2025 falls within the following may be beneficiaries of the aid contemplated in this call: 07. Extraction of metallic minerals. 08. Other extractive industries. 09. Activities to support the extractive industry. 10. Food Industry. 11. Manufacturing of beverages. 13. Textile industry. 14. Manufacture of clothing. 15. Leather industry and related products made of other materials. 16. Wood and cork industry, except furniture, basketry and espartoware. 17. Paper industry. 18. Graphic arts and reproduction of recorded media. 19. Coke plants and oil refining. 20. Chemical industry. 21. Manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. 22. Manufacture of rubber and plastic products. 23. Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products. 24. Metallurgy. 25. Manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment. 26. Manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products. 27. Manufacture of electrical material and equipment. 28. Manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. 29. Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers. 30. Manufacture of other transport material. 31. Furniture manufacturing. 32. Other manufacturing industries. 33. Repair, maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment. 35. Supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning. 36. Water collection, purification and distribution. 37. Wastewater collection and treatment. 38. Waste collection, treatment and disposal activities. 39. Decontamination activities and other waste management services. The CNAE of the main activity of the beneficiary, taking into account the National Classification of Economic Activities 2025 of Royal Decree 10/2025, of January 14, will be the one indicated as such in the Corporate Tax or, where applicable, in the Personal Income Tax, corresponding to the last fiscal year closed on the date of submission of the application. 2. The beneficiary companies must be validly incorporated, have an operational establishment in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, carry out the economic activity for which the aid is requested in La Rioja and carry out the eligible project. 3. The following are excluded from the aid contemplated in this call: i) Civil societies, except Agrarian Transformation Companies; ii) Communities of property; iii) Companies in the primary agricultural production sector (agriculture and livestock), unless they also develop transformation and/or wholesale marketing activities of the agricultural products obtained; iv) Companies in the fishing and aquaculture sector; v) entities belonging to the public sector; vi) Energy service companies, understood as the definition of article 19 of Royal Decree-Law 6/2010, of April 9, on measures to promote economic recovery and employment, when they act as such for third parties. 4. Beneficiary companies must be registered in the census of economic activities in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, in an heading corresponding to one of the subsidized activities, at the time of the closing of the call. 5. The rest of the requirements to be a beneficiary, their mandatory nature and the obligations acquired by the beneficiary, contemplated in articles 21, 22 and 23 of the applicable regulatory Order, will also be applicable. Second. Object. The purpose of the aid contemplated in this call is to promote measures that reduce final energy consumption, through energy savings and efficiency actions in SMEs and large companies in the industrial sector, with the purpose of contributing to the final energy savings objective established in article 8 of Directive (EU) 2023/1791, of the European Parliament and of the Council of September 13, 2023 on energy efficiency and by which it was modified.
