Official description of the call

The Local Government Board, through agreements adopted on July 10, 2026, approved the call for the granting of regular online transportation aid for high school students or training cycles residing in districts of the municipality of Lorca, corresponding to the period between October and December 2026, the extract of which is the following: 1.- PURPOSE OF THE SUBSIDY. The purpose of this call is to subsidize the public transport of Baccalaureate and Training Cycles students enrolled in a public education center in the municipality of Lorca, who use this special public transport as a means of travel from their place of residence, coinciding with any of the districts where there is interurban public transport by regular bus, to the educational centers located in the urban center of Lorca, during the months of October to December of the year 2026. 2.-REQUIREMENTS Students interested in obtaining aid must meet the conditions indicated below, upon request: Take Baccalaureate and Training Cycles studies during the 2026-2027 academic year in any of the teaching centers located in the urban center of Lorca. Residing in a district of the municipality where, to travel to the educational center where you study Baccalaureate and Training Cycles during the 2026-2027 academic year in the urban center of Lorca, there is regular interurban public transport by road. Travel between the residence address and the teaching center must be done by road, on buses of the existing regular passenger transport lines, on school days corresponding to the academic calendar. 3.-NATURE OF THE SUBSIDY These subsidies are considered aid in kind, as stated in the D.A, fifth of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general subsidies (BOE of November 18, 2003, hereinafter LGS) and art. 3 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the regulations of General Law 38/2003 on subsidies. Therefore, the payment of the subsidy does not imply any financial disbursement in favor of the beneficiary, but rather the granting of subsidized services, through the delivery of monthly use vouchers that the beneficiary student will exchange with the public transportation concessionaire company on the line they use, thus ensuring the reservation of their place. 4.- FINANCING OF THE CALL. A total amount of €40,000 is allocated to the granting of this aid from the Municipal Budget, item 60,323,489, of the 2026 budget. 5.- PLACE AND DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS. To participate in this call for regular online public transport aid for Baccalaureate and Training Cycles students, interested persons WILL SUBMIT APPLICATIONS preferably electronically through the Electronic Headquarters of Lorca City Council (www.lorca.es), requiring a valid digital certificate or electronic DNI. They may also be presented in person, at the General Registry of the Excmo. Lorca City Council (Plaza de España, nº 1) or by any of the means established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The PERIOD FOR SUBMISSION of applications will begin on the day following the publication of the announcement of this call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia and will end on September 7, 2026. Student applicants who, as of September 7, 2026, have not been able to formalize enrollment in their reference educational center, must also make the request for aid for this call within the aforementioned deadlines, stating the reason for the failure to present the registration document and the processing of the application being suspended until the registration documentation is presented. 6.- COMPATIBILITY The aid in this call is compatible with any other aid that may be obtained for the same purpose from other Public Administrations or public or private entities, in accordance with the provisions of article 19 of the General Subsidies Law. 7.- OTHER INFORMATION: The full text of the call, the standardized application models
