Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Anyone who wishes can participate in the contest, individually, presenting up to a maximum of three (3) works for each modality. It is an essential requirement that the works be original and unpublished. Second. Purpose: a) Promote photographic artistic expression b) Promote citizen participation during the patron saint festivities c) Enhance artistic creativity and publicize cultural, traditional and festive wealth Third. Regulatory bases: The bases of the call and the General Ordinance regulating the granting of subsidies, initially approved by the Plenary Session of the Es Mercadal City Council on October 11, 2005 and the final approval and the full text published in BOIB no. 189, of December 17, 2005. Fourth. Amount: A prize of 200 euros is awarded for the Sant Martí prize and 200 euros for the Sant Antoni prize with a theme related to the “Sant Martí” festivities of Es Mercadal, which will be €150. However, the jury may declare it void. The prizes awarded will be covered by budget application 40.334.48100 of the 2026 General Budget, with a maximum joint amount of 400.00 euros. Fifth. Application submission deadline: The deadline for admission of works ends at 2:00 p.m. on October 9, 2026.
