SUBSIDIES IN THE FIELD OF EQUALITY. FINANCIAL YEAR 2023

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Those described in article 4. Requirements of applicants and beneficiaries of the Ordinance regulating the specific bases, which will be accredited in the manner indicated in article 6 thereof. It will be necessary for those interested in becoming beneficiaries of the subsidies regulated through these bases to assume the commitment to comply with section VI of the CODE OF CONDUCT REGARDING SUBSIDIES AND PUBLIC AID OF THE REGION OF MURCIA (B.O.R.M 01/29/2022), to which the City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas adhered by Plenary agreement dated 30 May 2022. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to subsidize expenses incurred for the development of activities and associative projects by natural or legal persons and beneficiary entities classified in point FOUR, which are directed at society in general, whose main purpose is to raise awareness of equal treatment and non-discrimination on the basis of sex, as well as the achievement of real equality between people, promoting the integration of the principle of equal opportunities transversally in all of them as a priority objective and enhancer of current municipal policies. Activities whose main purpose contains one or more of the following objectives may be eligible for subsidy: 1. Promote equality between men and women in all areas, including access to employment, career development, work-life balance and the promotion of equal pay for equal work. 2. Promote the fight against all forms of discrimination and the promotion of equal opportunities. 3. Promote prevention actions against gender violence; promote social involvement and awareness in the eradication of gender violence; anticipate the detection of cases of gender violence. 4. Facilitate social change that allows for real and effective equality between people. 5. Facilitate the associative movement among women. The following will not be subsidized: 6. Cultural or recreational trips that do not involve participation in equality awareness activities and other eligible objectives. 7. Gastronomic meetings or gastronomic courses. 8. Talks or meetings on topics not related to the objectives specified as eligible for subsidies. Third. Regulatory bases. The Regulatory Bases, approved by Plenary Agreement of June 28, 2021, are published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia No. 212, of September 13, 2021 and on the Las Torres de Cotillas City Council website. Room. Amount. The budget credits to which the subsidy is attributed are the following charged to budget application 327,489.00 “citizen coexistence”, and the maximum total amount of the subsidies called is €3,000. Fifth. Application submission deadline. 15 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BORM. Sixth. Other data. The application will be submitted in the manner indicated in article 6 of the regulatory bases, accompanying the documents specified therein. The instruction of the procedure for granting subsidies will correspond to the technician of the municipal services of the Department of Social Services, Seniors, Disability, Integration, Social Policies, Employment and Training, which promotes the call, which may request the reports that it considers necessary to resolve or that are required by the corresponding bases. Once the deadline for submitting applications has expired, the investigating body will issue a report stating that the information in its possession shows that the beneficiaries meet all the necessary requirements to access the subsidy. An Assessment Commission will be set up chaired by the Councilor delegated in the matter, two technicians designated by the Department and assigned to it.
