RULES FOR CALL FOR ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORTATION SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNIVERSITY YOUTH OF ALCÁZAR DE SAN JUAN 2023/2024 YEAR

Official description of the call

FIRST: PURPOSE Granting of 14 ACCOMMODATION SCHOLARSHIPS and 14 TRANSPORTATION SCHOLARSHIPS for young people registered in Alcázar de San Juan who for reasons of university degree studies during the 2023/2024 university course. SECOND: NUMBER AND AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIPS 1. ACCOMMODATION SCHOLARSHIPS: 14 scholarships are offered with a monthly amount of €170.00 and with a duration of nine months, from October 2023 to June 2024. 2. TRANSPORTATION SCHOLARSHIPS: 14 scholarships are offered with a total amount of €200.00 to be received in a single payment. THIRD: BENEFICIARIES AND REQUIREMENTS People who meet the following requirements will be eligible for aid: a) Be registered in Alcázar de San Juan, the student and at least one of their parents with a minimum of two years' experience. b) Be 18 years of age, as of December 31, 2023. c) Be enrolled with a minimum of 50 credits in any university course, in any of the Faculties of the University of Castilla-La Mancha and/or in any university course that is not offered in the Faculties of the University of Castilla La Mancha. d) Family income corresponding to the year 2022, according to the number of members, is less than the following amounts: Families Amount Families with 1 member €15,417.00 Families with 2 members €22,694.00 Families with 3 members €30,768.00 Families with 4 members €36,521.00 Families with 5 members 40,808.00 € Families of 6 members €44,045.00 Families of 7 members €47,145.00 Families of 8 members €50,433.00 The income of the applicant's main breadwinners will count at 100%, those of the rest of the members of the family unit, including the applicant, at 50%. e) Not having been granted the MEC scholarship for residency. f) Not receiving any university accommodation aid. g) Master's students will not be able to request help in this call. FOURTH: DEDUCTIONS FROM FAMILY INCOME a) Large family: a. General category: €525 for each sibling who lives in the family home, including the applicant. b. Special category: €800, as long as you are entitled to this benefit. b) Disability: The deduction will be in relation to the degree of disability recognized by the applicant, brother/sister or son/daughter, being additive. c) Age: Under 25 years of age a. For each brother/sister who is a university student residing outside the family home... €1,200 FIFTH: COMPETITIVE COMPETITION The award will be made under a competitive competition regime through a single call and selective procedure. SIXTH: BUDGET CREDIT The aid from this call will be allocated to budget application 23101/48003 of the budget of this City Council. SEVENTH: APPLICATION AND DOCUMENTATION. The documentation to be presented to apply for aid will be the following: 1. Application in the form attached as Annex I. 2. D.N.I. 3. Registration from the University of Castilla-La Mancha. 4. Signed rental contract and receipt of deposit payment. 5. 2022 income tax return for all members of the family unit who receive income. 6. Prove with relevant documentation for possible deductions for family income. 7. The documents indicated in sections 3 and 4 may be provided after the publication of the final list of aid granted. EIGHTH: DEADLINE AND PLACE FOR SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION The application to obtain the scholarships that are the subject of this call will be submitted together with the indicated documentation within a period of twenty calendar days from its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province. The application will be submitted to the General Registry Office of the Alcázar de San Juan City Council (Social Services Center) or any of the registries and offices indicated in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. NINTH: DEADLINE FOR RESOLUTION AND NOTIFICATION Once the deadline for submitting applications has expired, the Valuation Commission will publish on the City Council bulletin board and municipal website the provisional list of beneficiaries of the aid, granting a period of three business days to make allegations. Once this period has elapsed and the allegations have been resolved, if applicable, the Valuation Commission will publish the final list in the manner indicated above.
