LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD AGREEMENT DATE NOVEMBER 3, 2023 AGREEING ON THE CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES AIMED TO PROVIDE PENSIONERS' ASSOCIATIONS AND CLUBS WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO DETAIL MAINTENANCE EXPENSES

Official description of the call

1.- PURPOSE. The purpose of this call for subsidies is to define the conditions and procedure to be followed for the granting of subsidies aimed at providing pension associations and clubs with financial aid to cover the maintenance costs of social premises and the execution of coexistence, cultural and leisure activities organized by them, all referring to the period from March 1, 2023 to February 28, 2024. The activities or purposes that may be the subject of the subsidy must be related to the following fields: Cleaning of the premises and acquisition of consumables essential for their cleaning and hygiene and daily press. Trips, convivial activities and participation in popular festivals. Samples and exhibitions. 2.-BENEFICIARIES Pensioner associations and clubs in the municipality of Lorca that request it may benefit from this call, in accordance with the content of this call. Pensioner associations and clubs that have not justified, in a timely manner, the receipt of subsidies obtained from this Local Administration in previous years will not be eligible for this call. 3.- FINANCING OF THE CALL. A maximum total amount of €18,000 is allocated to the granting of this aid from item 30,2315,489 of the 2023 budget, carried over from the previous year. 4.- AMOUNTS OF AID A subsidy is established for carrying out the activities or purposes set out in section 1 of these rules, which may not exceed 600 euros for each association or club, nor the amount budgeted for the development of the activity. 5.- APPLICATIONS, PLACE AND PERIOD OF SUBMISSION. The Participation Request models (Annex I), the 2023 subsidy justification report-sheet (Annex II) will be provided through the Lorca City Council website www.lorca.es. To participate in the contest, interested associations will submit the application for participation, and the subsidy-2023 justification report-file (Annexes I and II, respectively, of this call) electronically, through the Electronic Headquarters of the Lorca City Council (www.lorca.es), requiring a digital certificate. The deadline for submitting applications will be TEN WORKING DAYS counted from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia. The call will be published in the BDNS, in accordance with the procedure established in article 20.8 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. 6.- OTHER INFORMATION: The full text of the call, the standardized application models and the reference to the corresponding information services are available at: Department of Social Services of the Lorca City Council, located in Alameda de Cervantes, nº. 30, 30800 Lorca. Against the agreement of the Local Government Board, which exhausts the administrative route, an appeal for reconsideration may be filed, on an optional basis, within a period of one month from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BORM, or a contentious-administrative appeal, within a period of two months from the day following said publication.
