Entities that may benefit from the aid, in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of the call, may be public research organizations, public universities and their university institutes, private universities, accredited health research institutes, Technology Centers and Support Centers for Technological Innovation, other public and private non-profit R&D&I centers, companies and sectoral business associations. Second. Object. The purpose of the aid is to finance experimental development projects in collaboration between companies and research organizations, in order to advance the incorporation of knowledge and scientific-technical results that allow the validation and pre-competitive development of new technologies, products and services, creating the appropriate context that stimulates the generation of a critical mass in R&D&I of an interdisciplinary nature for its application, transfer, search for solutions and generation of results both in the technological and innovation trajectories of companies and in the market. Third. Regulatory bases. Order CIN/1025/2022, of October 27, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of public aid corresponding to various programs and subprograms of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021-2023, whose management corresponds to the State Research Agency. Room. Amount. The maximum amount destined to finance this call amounts to 320,000,000 euros, which will be attributed to the budgetary applications equivalent, in the years 2024 and following, to the current 28,303,463B.750, 28.07.463B.82115 and 28.07.463B.83116 of the General Budgets of the State, in accordance with budgetary availability. Fifth. Form and deadline for submitting applications. Applications for participation will be submitted in accordance with the procedure described in article 13 of the call. The electronic completion and presentation of the application must be carried out through the electronic means enabled for this purpose at the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Science and Innovation. The application submission period will begin on January 30 and end on February 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time). Sixth. Application evaluation criteria. Applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria: a) Quality, feasibility and transfer potential of the proposal. b) Scientific-technical and economic capacity of the consortium. c) Expected impact of the results. d) Adequacy of the requested budget. The description of the criteria, as well as their assessment and thresholds, are determined in Annex I of the call.
