Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Non-profit cultural associations, legally constituted and registered in the Registry of Associations of the Balearic Islands, and neighborhood associations (only activities that they organize of a cultural nature) whose scope of action is the island of Menorca, can benefit from this call for aid. Associations whose scope of action is the Balearic Islands can also participate, provided they have a delegation or establishment on the island of Menorca. In the case of associations that have several sections within them, the request will be made for the total of the projects of the set of sections that compose it. For this reason, direct requests from sections that are part of broader cultural entities or associations are excluded. The following are excluded from this call as beneficiaries: a) Sports entities. b) Educational entities, educational centers and AFA (student family associations). c) Youth entities or entities that promote activities for youth. d) Associations of older people or groups linked to them. e) Folklore groups. f) Foundations. g) Entities that obtain other aid from the annual budget of program 33400 for Cultural Creation and Promotion of the Island Council of Menorca. Second. Purpose The purpose of the aid is to promote and support the implementation of cultural projects developed in Menorca by the island's cultural entities. Third. Regulatory bases This call is governed by the bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on 05/13/2024. Room. Amount The maximum overall amount of the call is €300,000 (three hundred thousand euros). Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications to qualify for this aid will be 30 calendar days from the day following its publication in the BOIB. Sixth. Other data. The percentage of the subsidy on the final expense of the activity or project will be, at most, 60%. Likewise, no total grant awarded to an entity may exceed 20% of the total budget of the call. Thus, the amount of the subsidy may in no case exceed 60,000 euros.
