Official description of the call
1. As many people as wish may participate in this call. 2. Each participating person may present a maximum of three works, the content being free choice but alluding to the Royal Fair of Our Lady of Valle. 3. The posters presented must be original and unpublished, not having obtained prizes or second prize in other contests or contests. 4. Participants will be solely responsible for the content of their posters in terms of legal requirements for image rights or plagiarism, according to current laws. 5. The Lucena City Council will be exempt from all responsibility for any claim that may be made by a third person. 6. The works will be of free technique, whenever their reproduction is possible. They will include the Shield of Lucena, the Emblem of the Hon. Lucena City Council, with the name Delegation of Festivals, Customs and Traditions (new this year) and the logo of the City, at your disposal in the Delegation of Festivals, located in Plaza Nueva nº 1, tfo: 957 50 04 10. 7. The motto that must be incorporated is the following: Royal Fair of Our Lady of Valle Lucena from September 12 to 15, 2024 8. The poster must be made vertically, and the dimensions will be 70 cm high by 50 cm wide (including margins if any), and it will be presented on a rigid, protected and packaged support. 9. The author of the winning work must deliver the work to this Town Hall in digital format (CD-ROM / DVD) with a minimum resolution of 300 d.p.i. and in one of the following formats: PSD, TIFF or high quality JPEG, and may, at your discretion, present it signed. 10. A prize of one thousand euros (€1,000.00) is established. The amount will be subject to the tax withholdings provided by law. 11. The request for participation will be submitted to the Information and Citizen Service of the Lucena City Council, located at Plaza Nueva, 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., or in any of the ways provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, using the application model that is attached as Annex I to these bases and which will be accompanied by the poster that presents contest. The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 days from the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, through the National Subsidies Database and on the Edict Board of the Lucena City Council. 12. The posters will be presented without the signature of the author, under a motto that they freely choose, said motto must be stated in writing on the back of the work, attaching a sealed envelope with the name and telephone number of the author. 13.- Only the envelope corresponding to the winning poster will be opened. 14.- The author of the winning work will provide a photocopy of their ID. and a responsible declaration of authorship of the work presented. (A model of the same is attached in Annex II of these bases), within a maximum period of 5 business days from the publication of the resolution on the electronic notice board of this City Council. Likewise, through this document you will present a responsible declaration that you are not subject to any of the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary of subsidies, in accordance with the provisions of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, as well as that you do not receive aid for the same purpose and that you are up to date in compliance with your tax obligations, vis-à-vis Social Security and the Municipal Treasury; all of this without prejudice to the ex officio verifications that the City Council may carry out, which are authorized with the presentation of said declaration. 15.- In the event that the same person wins the contest for two consecutive years, they will not be able to participate in the next call, automatically forming part of the team of advisors of the Jury. 16.- The qualifying jury will be chaired by the Mayor (or councilor whom he delegates), and will be composed of the Delegate Councilor for Festivals, the Delegate Councilor for Culture and a representation of each of the municipal political groups appointed by their respective political group, and experts who are appointed by the Mayor at the proposal of the Delegate Festival Councilor may also attend.
