RULES AND CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES TO SPORTS ASSOCIATIONS AND INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES TO PARTICIPATE IN OFFICIAL COMPETITIONS AND TO ORGANIZE SPORTS EVENTS

Official description of the call

BDNS ID: 765501 First. Beneficiaries: Sports associations based in the Redondela City Council, which are properly constituted and duly legalized at the time the application submission period ends and which meet the requirements set out in the call. Second. Purpose: Granting of subsidies on a free competition basis for: a).- Organization of events b).- Participate in official competitions c)- Participate in official sports competitions for people with disabilities d)- Individual athletes who participate in official competitions Third. Regulatory bases: Bases and call that will govern the granting of subsidies from the Department of Sports for the year 2024, published in the BOP of Pontevedra number 108 of June 4, 2024. Fourth. Amount: €200,000, of which up to a maximum of €188,000 is available to participate in official competitions, up to a maximum of €4,000 to participate in official sports competitions for people with disabilities, up to a maximum of €2,000 for competitions in which individual athletes participate and up to a maximum of €6,000 for event organization. Fifth. Application period: 15 business days counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province. In the case of requesting “Redondela Promotion”, events and individual athletes, the deadline will end on November 1. Sixth. Other information: Natural persons interested in availing themselves of the benefits of these Bases will submit the applications in the Entry Registry of the Redondela City Council addressed to the mayor or through any of the forms indicated in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations in the standardized model that will be provided in the Registry itself. In the case of legal entities, and in accordance with the provisions of article 14.2.a) of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, the presentation and processing of this subsidy will be done exclusively by electronic means through the electronic headquarters of the Redondela City Council, and must be signed through the mechanisms admitted in the electronic headquarters. In the event that entities present their application on paper, they will be required to correct it by electronic submission, considering the date of submission of the application to be the date on which the correction was made and which must be done within the period set out in the following base. In this case, the signature of a legal entity will be mandatory. The possibility of advance payments is foreseen, meeting the requirements of the call. The justification period ends before December 1, 2024.
