Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Students who, throughout the 2023-2024 academic year, carry out studies that meet the requirements specified in the bases of the call may be beneficiaries. Likewise, applicants must have their family domicile in Menorca, must be registered in Menorca (unless non-registration is for extraordinary and justified reasons) and must have completed at least one academic year on our island before starting studies abroad. Second. Purpose The purpose of this aid is to grant scholarships to carry out studies outside Menorca for the 2023-2024 academic year. Third. Regulatory bases The call is governed by the bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on June 10, 2024. Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €713,442 (seven hundred and thirteen thousand, four hundred and forty-two euros), according to the following breakdown: Maximum amount Line 1: Travel aid for university students outside Menorca. €333,442 Line 2: Scholarships for studies outside Menorca. €380,000 Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications to qualify for this aid will be 30 calendar days from the day following its publication in the BOIB. Sixth. Other information The eligible period corresponding to the 2023-2024 academic year runs from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024. The justification period will end on August 31, 2024. The maximum amount that each applicant can receive is two thousand euros (€2,000) for aid line 1 and two thousand five hundred euros (€2,500) for aid line 2, in the manner established in the bases of the call for each of the two lines.
