Extract of the Agreement of the Research Commission of the University of Alcalá of July 17, 2024, by which the Predoctoral Contracts for the Training of Research Personnel 2024 are called BDNS: 776686 In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, it is published the extract of the call whose full text can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries. People who are in possession of a university degree and who are carrying out or are going to carry out official doctoral studies at the UAH and who meet, on the closing date of the application submission period, the requirements indicated in point 2 of the call. Second. Object. The objective of this program is the training of university graduates in scientific and technical research, aimed at obtaining a doctorate degree within the research activity of a research group, in any area of ​​scientific knowledge, and who can carry out a doctoral thesis within a Doctoral Program of this University. Third. Regulatory bases. Amount. The remuneration of the predoctoral contract will be that which corresponds in accordance with the national regulations in force. The total amount budgeted for the year 2024, to finance the expenses derived from this call, together with the economic rights derived from calls for previous annuities, the Call for Predoctoral Contracts for the Training of University Teachers 2024 (BDNS Code: 776688), and the Call for Predoctoral Contracts for the Training of University Teachers 2024 – Line of Excellence (Code BDNS: 756016), is 2,586,202 euros, and will be financed from budget application 30400M000.541.A 640.06. Fifth. Deadline and submission of applications. The deadline for submitting applications will be between September 1 and 30, 2024, both inclusive. The application form will be completed electronically through the “Calls” option available on the Research Staff Portal. Sixth. Other data. The duration of the contract will be one year, with full-time dedication from the date indicated in the resolution. Following a favorable report from the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Program, the contract may be extended for annual periods for the duration of your stay in the doctoral program. In no case may the accumulated duration of the initial contract plus extensions exceed 4 years, except for the exceptions indicated in art. 21 of the LCTI. The achievement of the doctoral degree will put an end to the training stage of the research staff (section 4, art. 20 of the LCTI). For these purposes, the date will be considered the day after the reading and approval of the Doctoral Thesis. Seventh. Awards and selection criteria Applications will be evaluated by the competitive competition procedure by an Evaluation Commission made up of doctoral researchers or professors and researchers who meet the status of vocal members of the Research Commission of the University of Alcalá.
