Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Natural persons who meet the following conditions may be beneficiaries of the aid request: a) Be or have completed the year of the call between 18 and 35 years of age, both inclusive. b) Have legal residence in a municipality in Menorca and be registered in the rented home. c) Be holders of a rental contract, individually (whether you live alone or live with your own family unit) or as a co-tenant (contract with several tenants who are not part of the same family unit) of the home located in Menorca, which must be the habitual residence of the person requesting the help. d) Pay the rent by transfer, direct debit or by deposit, all of them through a financial institution. e) Not be holders of full ownership or a right of use over any home, unless the non-availability of the home is proven for reasons beyond the control of the people requesting the help, duly accredited. f) Have obtained gross annual income during fiscal year 2023 that does not exceed the thresholds established in the bases of the call. Second. Purpose The purpose of the call is to provide aid to young people between 18 and 35 years old for the expenses derived from renting their habitual residence. Third. Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the regulatory bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca, in an ordinary session on July 29, 2024. Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €100,000 (one hundred thousand euros). Fifth. Application submission period The application submission period will begin the day after the date of publication of the call in the BOIB and will end on September 30, 2024. Sixth. Other information The maximum amount per applicant is €5,400 (€450 per month for a maximum of 12 months). Up to a maximum of 50% of the 12-month monthly rent will be paid per applicant.
