Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Non-profit sports entities legally constituted and registered in the Registry of Sports Entities of the Government of the Balearic Islands can benefit from the call for aid, at least since the beginning of the season for which aid is granted, and that carry out their sports activity on the island of Menorca. To be a beneficiary of the aid, it is a requirement that the entities be federated in the Balearic Islands and that they belong to a club or sports entity domiciled on the island of Menorca.Second. Purpose The purpose of the call is to regulate the granting of aid aimed at non-profit sports entities registered in the Registry of the General Directorate of Sports of the Balearic Islands and domiciled in Menorca. and, more specifically, support the sports entities of Menorca for the promotion of sport, the management and operation of associations, the organization and dissemination of activities, participation in competitions outside the island and the training of sports technicians.Third. Regulatory bases This call is governed by the bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on June 8, 2026. Fourth. AmountThe maximum overall amount of the call is €745,000 (seven hundred and forty-five thousand euros), according to the following breakdown: Line AmountLine 1. Support for sports activities €215,000.00Line 2. Travel and accommodation €250,000.00Line 3. Training of technicians €20,000.00Line 4. Organization of events €25,000.00Line 5. Facility rental €70,000.00Line 6. Purchase of consumable sports equipment €20,000.00Line 7. Preventive maintenance of the facility €145,000.00Total €745,000.00 In the event that the allocation for a helpline is not exhausted budget, the excess amount will be assigned to line 2 (if the credit has been exhausted that does not cover the maximum 75% established of the amount of expenditure foreseen in line 2), and, in the event that there is a remainder, the remainder will be assigned to line 1. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applicationsThe deadline for submitting applications is from the day following the publication of the call in the BOIB until July 31, 2026. Sixth. Other data Maximum amounts per beneficiary Line 1: the maximum amount per entity is nine thousand euros (€9,000)Line 2: the maximum amount per entity is nine thousand euros (€9,000)Line 3: the maximum amount per entity is one thousand five hundred euros (€1,500), with a limit of five hundred euros (€500) per trained technicianLine 4: the maximum amount per entity is two thousand euros (€2,000)Line 5: the maximum amount per entity is five thousand euros (€5,000)Line 6: the maximum amount per entity is one thousand euros (€1,000)Line 7*: the maximum amount per entity is twenty thousand euros (€20,000) and three thousand euros (€3,000) * Regarding the maximum amount per entity of line 7, "Preventive maintenance of the installation", difference depending on whether or not the entity is responsible for the management of the facility. In this sense, for entities that are owners or have a contract or an agreement for the transfer of use or equivalent title, have the right of exclusive or preferential use of the facility and directly manage the resources and services necessary to develop the sporting activity, the maximum amount is €20,000. On the other hand, for the rest of the entities, the maximum amount is €3,000. The maximum amount of the call per entity is €50,000.
