RULES AND CALL FOR AID FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF ALGUAZAS STUDENTS 2024-2025 YEAR

Official description of the call

By Mayor's Decree number 1105/2024, of September 18, 2024, the regulatory bases and call for aid to students from Alguazas for the use of public passenger transport for the 2024-2025 academic year were approved. Alguazas students who, during the 2024/2025 school year, meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the aid: Be registered in the municipality of Alguazas. Be up to date with tax obligations and Social Security. Be enrolled in an official approved educational center outside the municipality because there is no educational offer in Alguazas for said student. The purpose of this call is to call, on a competitive basis, in order of application and up to the limit of the budget allocation, and in accordance with the General Subsidies Ordinance of the municipality of Alguazas (BORM 131 of 06/10/2021), subsidies to promote and facilitate access to the use of public transport for students of the municipality. The purpose of these subsidies is to help the students of the municipality so that they can use the public transport service and be able to take any regulated educational training outside the municipality because said training offer is not available in Alguazas. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases that must govern this call are published https://alguazas.sedelectronica.es/transparency/b2619e84-bcfb-44b0-96c1-2d37c0116b12/ Total amount The amount of the aid will be financed from the budget item 2025.1.320.48002.01. The maximum amount corresponding to this call is €3,000.00. With this aid, €5.65 will be subsidized for each load of 10 vouchers granted to each student until December 31, 2024, since the other 50% is assumed by the State based on Royal Decree-Law 8/2023, of December 27. As of January 1, 2025, €11.30 will be subsidized, and the vouchers must be delivered to the company INTERBUS, S.A., unless the Government dictates a new extension of transport aid. Deadline for submitting applications The application for the concession may be submitted at any time by interested parties, no later than July 1 of the current school year.
