AWARDS IN THE FRAMEWORK OF PROMOTING A CULTURE OF EQUAL TREATMENT AND OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH TEACHING, RESEARCH AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER, IN TWO CATEGORIES

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans): First. Beneficiaries. To qualify for the awards referred to in these regulatory bases, the applicant must be part of the UMH University Community and meet the following requirements: Category A): Be a UMH student who has presented and defended their TFG, TFM and doctoral thesis in the 2022/2023 or 2023/2024 academic years at the UMH. Category B): Participation may be individual or group. If it is a group, at least one of the members of the group must belong to the UMH University Community: technical, management, administration and services staff, research teaching staff and/or research staff. Second. Object. The purpose of this call, which is regulated by the rules expressed here, is in category A) to award final degree dissertations (TFG), final master's dissertations (TFM) and doctoral theses (TD) that incorporate the gender perspective or address study topics referring to specific problems of women in any field of research; and in category B), reward studies and reports that show the situation of women in the UMH, whose results are linked to the II Equality Plan and/or contribute to favoring the preparation of the diagnosis prior to the III Equality Plan. The awards consist of public recognition before the university community through the delivery of a diploma and a financial prize. Furthermore, in category A), the awarded works may be taken into account as teaching or dissemination material through the Equality Unit, without prejudice to the provisions of the legislation on copyright, especially in the case of doctoral theses. In category B), the UMH reserves the right to publish and disseminate the award-winning work(s). Third. Regulatory bases. https://boumh.umh.es/files/2024/09/RR_02282_2024.pdf Fourth. Amount. The maximum total award for this call is 2500 euros. A prize of 500 euros is established for the Doctoral Thesis and €250 for each of the TFG and TFM prizes, respectively. The research prize is set at €1,500. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days after the date of publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV). Sixth.
