BDNS (identif.): 789118 In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/789118) First. Purpose To call, for the financial year 2024, subsidies aimed at carrying out activities and projects aimed at the protection and defense of animals and the conservation of animal biodiversity, environmental protection and improvements in the habitat, in the territorial scope of the Valencian Community. Second. Beneficiary entities 1. Entities for the protection and defense of companion animals defined in article 5 of Law 2/2023, of March 13, on the Protection, Welfare and Ownership of companion animals and other animal welfare measures, may obtain the status of beneficiary of these subsidies. 2. Entities, associations or foundations with legal personality, non-profit, recognized in their statutes, whose main purpose or that carry out activities that contribute to the conservation of biodiversity and balance of animal ecosystems and the improvement of their habitat and the protection of the environment may also obtain the status of beneficiaries of these subsidies. Third. Regulatory bases Order 5/2024, of September 18, 2024, of the Ministry of Environment, Infrastructure and Territory (hereinafter Order 5/2024, of September 18, 2024), published in (DOGV No. 9941, dated September 20, 2024). Room. Financing The maximum overall amount set for the resolution of files for the 2024 call, of subsidies intended for the implementation of activities and projects aimed at the protection and defense of animals and the conservation of animal biodiversity, protection of the environment and improvements in the habitat in the territorial scope of the Valencian Community, amounts to one million one hundred and fifty thousand euros (1,150,000 euros). The aid will be granted under the following budget application: For the actions of subsidy line S0249, of the management center G01080202GE00000, program 442A00 of chapter 4 of expenses, for a total amount of six hundred and fifty thousand euros (650,000 euros): Modality A: €400,000 Modality B: €250,000 For the actions of the subsidy line S0525, from the management center G01080202GE00000, program 442A00 of chapter 7 of expenses, for a total amount of five hundred thousand euros (500,000 euros): Modality A: €350,000 Modality B: €150,000 Fifth. Amount 1. The maximum amount of the subsidy to be granted to each beneficiary for carrying out one or more of the eligible actions of Modality A will be 36,000 euros, VAT included, and may finance up to 80% of the execution of the projects or activities. 2. The maximum amount of the subsidy to be granted to each beneficiary for carrying out one or more of the eligible actions of Modality B will be 24,000 euros, VAT included, and may finance up to 80% of the execution of the projects or activities. Sixth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be ten business days counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the resolution of the call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana. Seventh. Other information Interested parties who meet the established conditions will submit the application electronically through the Generalitat's electronic headquarters at the link (https://sede.gva.es/es/proc861) using the corresponding standardized models available there.
