Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b. and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Base (http://pap.minh ap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index) and in this DOE. First. Beneficiaries. The status of beneficiaries may be acquired by those who, at the end of the application submission period, meet, in addition to those generally established in article 12 of Law 6/2011, of March 23, on Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, the following specific requirements: 1.- Possess nationality of a member country of the European Union or of one of the countries that are admitted in this call, as well as of third countries when the status of resident in one of the admissible countries is accredited with a date prior to the publication of this call. Countries admitted to the call: Member States of the European Union (EU): Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Slovenia, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Romania, Sweden. Western Balkans: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro. Eastern neighborhood: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldavia, Territory of Ukraine recognized by international law. Southern Mediterranean countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia. Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Philippines, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar/Burma, Nepal, Pakistan, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam, Brunei, Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Singapore and Taiwan. Caribbean: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Cuba, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago United States and Canada: United States of America and Canada Other regions: Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and Vatican City State, Faroe Islands, United Kingdom and Switzerland. 2.- Be enrolled in the doctoral program of a university in the countries admitted as eligible in this call and be in the preparation phase of the doctoral thesis in History, Political Sciences, Economics, Law, and other disciplines of the Human and Social Sciences, as well as other branches of science, on a topic related to the object and orientation established in the call. 3.- Not having received a Research and Mobility Grant in European Studies “Carl os V European Award” from the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation previously. 4.- Prove knowledge of one of the two working languages (English or Spanish) with a level equal to or greater than B2 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), if neither of them is your mother tongue. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to offer 18 European scholarships for research and mobility in European studies “Carlos V European Prize” with an individual award of 2.
