RESOLUTION Nº 2025001066, OF 04/04/2025, CALLING FOR THE XII MICRO-STORY CONTEST OF THE MUNICIPAL PUBLIC LIBRARY OF TORRE PACHECO 2025.

Official description of the call

FIRST.- Beneficiaries: All writers over 18 years of age residing in Spain who wish to do so. The short stories written in the Spanish language must be original and unpublished, and must not have previously been awarded in any other contest, nor must they correspond to authors who died prior to the submission of the work to this Contest. Each participant may compete with only one entry. SECOND.- Object: To support and reward from the Torre Pacheco City Council literary creation and the promotion of reading, a cultural activity that par excellence brings public value and intimate freedom to the lives of the citizens of a democratic society. THIRD.- Regulatory bases: The Call and Specific Bases are regulated by RESOLUTION Nº 2025001066, of 04/04/2025, of the Delegate Councilor for Finance, Culture and Tourism of the Torre-Pacheco City Council, of the CALL FOR THE XII MICRORATORY COMPETITION OF THE MUNICIPAL PUBLIC LIBRARY OF PACHECO TORRE 2025. ; and is governed by the Regulatory Bases of the Villa de Torre Pacheco Short Story Contest and the Short Story Contest of the Municipal Public Library, initially approved in a plenary session on December 29, 2022, made final by Resolution No. 2023001070 of the Mayor-President of Torre Pacheco, of April 10, 2023, and published in the B.O.R.M. no. 104, of May 8, 2023. These Regulatory Bases are framed in the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Torre-Pacheco City Council (BORM No. 239, of October 16, 2017), and their call is provided for in the current Strategic Subsidies Plan (current PES) of the Torre Pacheco City Council, (approved by Resolution 2020000408, dated 02/21/2020 and extended in validity by Resolution 2023000233 dated 01/27/2023). The Call and Specific Rules may be consulted in the following publication media and access routes: 1) Notice board and electronic edicts of the electronic headquarters of the Torre Pacheco City Council: https://sede.torrepacheco.es/ Resolution No. 2025001066 of the Call and Specific Rules will be inserted; as well as the Annexes contained therein for downloading and submitting applications within the established period. 2) Transparency Portal of the municipal website of the Torre Pacheco City Council (Calls for Aid and Subsidies section): https://transparencia.torrepacheco.es/subvenciones/ 3) National Subsidy Database (National Subsidy and Public Aid Advertising System) in accordance with the provisions of articles 18 and 20 of the LGS, and which will operate as a national subsidy advertising system: https://www.pap.hacienda.gob.es//bdnstrans/ge/es/convocatorias BDNS Registration Code (Identif.): 825894 4) Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM): publication of the extract of this call, through the National Subsidies Database (BDNS), which will govern the opening of the deadline for submitting applications for the competition, which will be 7 business days counting. from the following to the publication in BORM. FOURTH.- Budget item: The maximum amount approved in this call is €200.00, charged to budget application 4/3260/4801700 (ARC 7420, dated 04/04/2025), denomination “Scholarships and Awards”, of the municipal budget for the financial year 2025. FIFTH.- Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for admission of originals will be closed after 20 calendar days, counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BORM (Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia), in accordance with article 7 contained in the Regulatory Bases (published in the B.O.R.M. no. 104, of May 8, 2023).
