Official description of the call
Department of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment Extract from the Resolution of April 17, 2025 of the Department of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment, which calls for subsidies aimed at promoting the use of Valencian in the festive context: books of the Bonfires and books of Moors and Christians, for the year 2025. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database. First. Beneficiary entities: The Hogueras and Moors and Christians festival commissions, during the year 2025 that are legally constituted, registered in the corresponding registry of the administration, that comply with the precepts and requirements established in Order 90/2016, which approves the regulatory bases of this call. Second. Purpose The aid is aimed at subsidizing the Valencian edition of the Hogueras and Moors and Christians books in which the applicant entity participates. Third. Regulatory bases Order 90/2016, of December 27, of the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports, which approves the regulatory bases and the procedure for the granting of subsidies aimed at promoting the use of Valencian in the festive context. Room. Amount The maximum overall amount that may be allocated as a subsidy for this call will be 120,000 euros. The subsidies will have the following financial allocation: a) Modality: Bonfire Books 55 subsidies are being called for Bonfire books with a total endowment of 74,000 euros. b) Modality: Moors and Christians books 25 grants are being called for Moors and Christians books, with a total endowment of 46,000 euros. Fifth. Application deadline a) Books of the Bonfires The deadline for submitting applications and books will begin the day after the publication of this resolution in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana and will end on May 20, 2025. b) Books of Moors and Christians The deadline for submitting applications and published books will begin the day after the publication of this call in the DOGV and will end on October 3, 2025.
