Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Natural persons of Spanish or foreign nationality who have defended their doctoral thesis on violence against women at any Spanish university, obtaining the grade of outstanding cum laude or equivalent grade in accordance with the university regulations, within the period between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025, both inclusive. Doctoral theses must have been defended in the usual languages for scientific communication in their field of study. If they are written entirely or partially in a language other than Spanish or English, the corresponding translation into Spanish must be provided, so that the people who make up the jury can evaluate them appropriately. Likewise, doctoral theses must be unpublished, and this requirement will be considered non-compliance when, prior to submitting the application to participate in the call, the thesis has been fully reproduced multiple times in any print format or audiovisual medium, or has been awarded by any public administration or any public or private entity, unless the publication has been carried out by the same university in which it was presented. Second. Object. Granting of the awards from the Government Delegation against Gender Violence to doctoral theses on violence against women for the year 2026. Third. Regulatory bases. Order IGD/1220/2024, of October 25, which establishes the regulatory bases for the awards of the Government Delegation against Gender Violence for doctoral theses on violence against women. Room. Amount. The amount of the Prizes of the Government Delegation against Gender Violence for doctoral theses on violence against women for the year 2025 will be eight thousand euros (€8,000.00), to be divided into two prizes, with the first prize being an amount of four thousand eight hundred euros (€4,800.00) and the second prize being worth three thousand two hundred euros (€3,200.00). Fifth. Application submission deadline. Twenty business days, counted from the first business day following the publication of this extract in the BOE.
