Official description of the call

Rey Juan Carlos University Resolution dated May 26, 2026 of the Rector of the Rey Juan Carlos University, by which the call and its corresponding regulatory bases for the granting, through a competitive concurrence procedure, of the VII edition of the call for aid for the implementation of service learning projects (aps) of the Rey Juan Carlos University are approved and made public. BDNS: 908904 Extract from the Rectoral Resolution of the Rey Juan Carlos University of May 26, 2026, which approves and makes public the call and its corresponding regulatory bases for the granting, through a competitive concurrence procedure, of the VII edition of the call for aid for the implementation of service learning projects (aps) of the Rey Juan Carlos University. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the Call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index). First: Beneficiaries The beneficiary must be PDI teaching and research staff of the Rey Juan Carlos University. The projects must be applied in one or more subjects belonging to the study plans of official University degrees. To obtain the aid object of this call, the beneficiaries must meet the requirements established therein, as well as maintain them until the completion of the entire process that affects the aid. The status of Coordinator of a Service Learning Project will be maintained throughout the period of execution of the same, except for non-compliance with the obligations included in the “Instructions for ApS Projects” of the Rey Juan Carlos University. Each project will necessarily have a single Coordinator. In exceptional cases, the University Service Learning Office may be requested to recognize two professors as Coordinators of an ApS Project, provided it is duly justified. The project work team may be constituted only by the project coordinator, or by him/her and other members of the teaching and research staff of the Rey Juan Carlos University. In that case, the individual contribution of each PDI to the project must be adequately justified. A Coordinator may submit several project proposals for different subjects to the call. Causes for project exclusion: Projects in which any of its members have yet to justify financing granted in previous calls, which are closed projects and outside the execution deadline. Projects that have obtained funding in previous calls and their Final Report has been assessed by the ApS Project Evaluation Commission as “Not adequate”. The presentation of the application will constitute a Responsible Declaration that the requirements established for its presentation are met, and that the person is in a position to provide the documentation required for verification. The project coordinators undertake to carry out the activities described in the ApS Project Proposal request presented in this call and will be responsible for their correct execution. The project and service-learning activities must be developed during the 2026/2027 academic year and completed before the deadline for submitting the final supporting documentation indicated. The “Instructions for ApS Projects” of the Rey Juan Carlos University describe the obligations of the Coordinator of a Service Learning project, the obligations of the students and the obligations of the teachers who participate in said project. All requirements must be met from the submission of applications to the completion of the entire aid process.
