Public call for the granting of subsidies for the development of Social Welfare projects of the Valdepeñas City Council for the year 2026

Official description of the call

Taking into account the legal framework that regulates the granting of subsidies by public entities, and especially Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (modified by Royal Decree-Law 7/2013, of June 28, on urgent measures of a tax, budgetary nature and promotion of research, development and innovation) and Royal Decree 887/2006, by which approves its regulations, as well as the General Subsidies Ordinance of this City Council, approved in the Extraordinary Plenary Session of December 5, 2016 (BOP of the Province of Ciudad Real, No. 24 of Monday, February 6, 2017, pages 864 et seq.) and the Regulatory Bases of the Valdepeñas City Council for the granting of subsidies for the development of Social Welfare projects in Valdepeñas, approved by the Municipal Plenary dated March 4, 2019 and the provisions of the Strategic Subsidies Plan of this City Council, included in the Execution Bases of the General Budget of the Valdepeñas City Council for the financial year 2026. Once approved by agreement of the Local Government Board, this call will in turn be published in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/). First. Purpose of the call. The call for subsidies aims to contribute to defraying the expenses derived from carrying out intervention projects, as well as prevention, promotion, information and awareness-raising actions in matters of Social Welfare. These projects must be developed in the municipality of Valdepeñas in the year 2026. Second. Regulatory Bases. The Regulatory Bases of this Call were approved by Plenary Agreement dated March 4, 2019, which establishes the initial approval of the Regulatory Bases of the Valdepeñas City Council for the granting of subsidies for the development of Social Welfare projects for the year 2019 and subsequent years (BOP of the Province of Ciudad Real, no. 48, of Monday, March 11, 2019). The Regulatory Bases are published on the municipal website: www.valdepenas.es. Third. Granting procedure. The granting of subsidies will be carried out on a competitive basis, that is, by comparison between the applications submitted, after establishing a priority between them in accordance with the previously established evaluation criteria (tenth base of the Regulatory Bases) and taking into account the maximum amount to be subsidized and the credit limit available for the year 2026. For the purposes of said evaluation, the following general criteria will be taken into account: Technical and economic viability of the project, with regard to the following issues (up to a maximum of 30 points): Budget adequacy to the size of the project. Distribution in financing. Organization and management model of the entity. Experience of the entity in the matter and its trajectory. Project stability. Socio-community benefit of the service or program (up to a maximum of 30 points): Number of direct beneficiaries. Degree of benefit that the project brings to its participants. Degree of benefit that the project brings to society in general. Level of co-financing of the Project with the entity's own funds (up to a maximum of 20 points). Adaptation to the Strategic Subsidy Plan and the plans, purposes and objectives of the Municipal Area (up to a maximum of 10 points). Innovative elements (up to a maximum of 10 points). Quarter. Beneficiaries. Legal entities that meet the requirements established in the Third Base of the corresponding Regulatory Bases may qualify for the call for subsidies and therefore be beneficiary entities thereof. Fifth. Budget credit and maximum amount. The subsidies granted under this call will be allocated to the existing credit in item 23110.480.00 of the municipal budget for the year 2026, said item is endowed with 50,000 euros. The maximum amount of the subsidy to be awarded may not exceed 100% of the total budget of the project presented and will be a maximum of 10,000 euros. Sixth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 calendar days and will begin from the day following the date of publication of this call in the Official Gazette.
