CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES TO SPORTS ENTITIES AND ASSOCIATIONS FOR THE PROMOTION OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORTS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LOS ALCÁZARES. YEAR 2026

Official description of the call

First. – Beneficiaries. Sports entities and associations that meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries: a) Be legally constituted. b) Be registered in the Registry of Sports Entities of the Region of Murcia. c) Develop stable sports activity in the municipality of Los Alcázares for at least two years prior to the publication of the call. d) Have a minimum of 60% of athletes registered in Los Alcázares. Second. - Object. The purpose of this call is to regulate the regime and procedure applicable to the granting of subsidies, on a competitive basis, aimed at sports entities and associations for the promotion of physical activity and sport, the development of physical-sports activities and the promotion of sports practice in any of its disciplines and aspects. The call will be governed by the principles of publicity, transparency, concurrence, objectivity, equality and non-discrimination, effectiveness and efficiency in the allocation and use of public resources. The purpose of the call is: Promote the continuity and sustainability of the municipality's sports entities. Promote grassroots and training sports. Facilitate participation in official competitions. Promote healthy lifestyle habits. Promote effective equality and social inclusion in sport. Collaborate in the financing of expenses derived from federated and non-federated sports activities. Third. – Regulatory Bases. These subsidies will be governed by the provisions of the Regulatory Bases and Procedure for competitive participation to sports entities and associations for the promotion of physical activity and sport, approved by the Plenary Session of the Corporation in an extraordinary session on March 2, 2026 (BORM, no. 80, of April 9, 2026), in Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies; in the General Regulations of the Subsidies Law approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21; in Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations; in Royal Decree 130/2019, of March 8, which regulates the National Subsidies Database and the advertising of subsidies and other public aid; in the General Subsidies Ordinance, approved by the Plenary Session of the Corporation, in an ordinary session, held on May 3, 2010 and published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia no. 210, of September 10, 2010 and in the remaining administrative law rules that may be applicable, and failing that, the private law rules. The procedure for granting these subsidies will be on a competitive basis, by comparing the applications submitted, in order to establish a relationship between them in accordance with the evaluation criteria established in this call, awarding, with the limit set in the following point, those that have obtained the highest evaluation in application of the aforementioned criteria. Fourth. – Amount and Budget Appropriation. The budgetary credits to which the subsidy is attributed amount to a maximum amount of ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND EUROS —195,000.00 euros—, charged to budgetary application 2026.341.480.01, in accordance with the retention of credit No. 2026.2.0004356.000 in the file, without said authorization implying a grant of any right in favor of the possible beneficiaries until the final resolution of the procedure. The maximum amount of the call is initially distributed in the following programs: Program A: Promotion and Development of Sports to Sports Associations and Sports Clubs of Los Alcázares, for a maximum amount of 100,000.00 euros. Program B: Aid for the payment of transportation expenses derived from participation in official sports competitions, for a maximum amount of 95,000.00 euros. Fifth. – Application Submission Deadline. The submission period is 15 calendar days from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) of the extract of the call.
