In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans): DIPUTACIÓN DE TARRAGONA Employment and Entrepreneurship Unit Area of Human Resources, Employment and Entrepreneurship First.- Beneficiary entities Foundations, private associations, and chambers of commerce in the region may be beneficiary entities of these subsidies, whose objective is to promote or promote the economic development of Camp de Tarragona, Terres de l'Ebre and Baix Penedès, through activities to promote entrepreneurship and support business. Individuals, public or private companies, public administrations and entities dependent on them, regardless of their legal nature or form, associative-based public organizations (consortia, associations, etc.), universities or dependent entities, business schools, professional associations, cooperatives and unions, cannot be beneficiaries of these subsidies. Second.- Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of subsidies aimed at financing those actions to promote entrepreneurship that contribute to promoting the economic development of the regions of Terres de l'Ebre, Camp de Tarragona and Baix Penedès. The Tarragona Provincial Council's mission is to contribute to the balanced development of the territory, and this mission is carried out through its own actions, as well as supporting the social and economic agents of the territory. This subsidy integrated into the 2023 Strategic Subsidy Plan of the Provincial Council of Tarragona, which in accordance with the 2020-2023 mandate plan is framed within the challenge Challenge 1 “Leadership of the ecosystem in the search for the common good” and Strategic Line 1 “Define and co-lead the creation and development of the Catsud ecosystem” aims to promote the promotion of entrepreneurship and support those initiatives and actions of promotion that have their origin in the associative and institutional fabric of the territory aimed at promoting the business world, employment and sustainable economic growth of the demarcation. Third.- Eligible activities and expenses Eligible activities: • Activities that contribute to promoting economic development, by promoting entrepreneurship and supporting the company (training courses, advice and guidance sessions, information days, carrying out and presenting studies or newsletters, fairs, networking, access to financing and any other action that contributes to the indicated objective). Non-eligible activities: • Activities that are solely recreational or festive in nature. Eligible expenses: • Hiring external services to carry out training activities or any other action that aims to promote economic development, by promoting entrepreneurship and supporting the company. • Space rental. • Material expenses, except those indicated in the following sections. • Personnel expenses. Non-eligible expenses: • Gastronomic expenses; meals, drinks, snacks. • Operating expenses: telephone, water, cleaning, electricity, gas, telecommunications and any other type of supply. • Travel expenses and subsistence allowances. • Acquisition of furniture, equipment, vehicles, infrastructure, real estate and land. • Deductible VAT in accordance with article 31.8 of the General Subsidies Law. Fourth.- Budget credit and maximum total amount Budget application 8040/241/48000.01. The maximum total amount of the subsidies called will be €250,000.00. This maximum amount may be increased according to the requests received and budget availability. Fifth.- Amount to be granted The amount of the subsidy is that which results from the evaluation and weighting of the requests in accordance with the evaluation criteria established in the call, and from the distribution of the budget allocation of the corresponding budget application between the number of requests presented and based on the eligible budget, taking into account that the maximum co-financing percentage by the Provincial Council of
