Object and scope of application The object of this resolution is to call for the granting of subsidies for the promotion of musical activities in the Valencian Community, within the framework of the powers of the IVC and in accordance with the objectives entrusted to it. These subsidies are intended to encourage and promote the creation, production, dissemination and exhibition of musical performances, through activities such as festivals, musical improvement courses, production of concerts and tours, among others, as well as promoting cooperation with other agents and cultural entities in the public or private sphere, with the ultimate goal that citizens can have a diversified and quality musical offer. Second. Aid modalities The modalities provided for in this call are the following: 1. Aid to festivals, cycles and commemorative events, which aim to qualitatively and quantitatively increase presentations of these characteristics, with the aim of increasing the musical offer in the Valencian Community and that this contributes to the creation, training and development of audiences. 2. Aid for programming in exhibition halls, which aims to promote a diversified and quality musical offer, while increasing the professional possibilities of musicians in the Valencian Community. 3. Aid for musical improvement courses, competitions, conferences and conferences, which aim to promote the training and retraining of professionals in the music sector, as well as research, study and circulation of knowledge in this matter. 4. Aid for tours outside the Valencian Community, which aim to support the performance of our artists and musical groups outside the territory of our Community, with the aim of facilitating the dissemination and marketing of their work outside this territorial area. 5. Aid to projects for the production of live music shows, which aim to enable the creation and staging of concerts and other musical presentations, thus promoting a diversified and quality musical offer, supporting the work of the professional sector in the musical field. 6. Aid for the composition of newly created musical works linked to their premiere, which aims to promote the development and dissemination of original and unpublished musical pieces, as well as their authors. 7. Aid to promote record production, which aims to promote and encourage the recording of musical works by Valencian composers and performers. Third. Persons and entities beneficiaries of the aid To obtain the status of person or entity beneficiary of this aid, the requirements established in article 3 of the order of bases must be met. Room.
