Official description of the call
First. Object: The promotion of the Painting Contest and the increase of municipal assets. Second. Beneficiaries: Artists over 18 years of age, Spanish, or residents of the European community may participate in this contest. Those artists who have won a prize in any previous edition of the TEODORO ANDREU or JOSEP FRANCÉS prize will NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE in this edition. Third. Regulatory bases: The Plenary Session of the Alzira City Council, in the session held on January 29, 2020, has definitively approved the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Alzira City Council, which contains the regulatory bases of the procedure for the granting of subsidies by this City Council, and the full text of the same has been published in the Official Gazette of the province of Valencia No. 29, dated February 12, 2020. Fourth. Application submission period: The pre-selection period: from the call until September 4, 2023. The reception period: from September 6 to 24, 2023. Fifth.- Maximum total amount of the subsidies called: The maximum total amount of the subsidies called will be 1,500 euros, charged to the budget application 3330 48000 of the current Budget. The following prizes will be awarded: TEODORO ANDREU painting prize, worth €1,500 and a diploma. Josep Francés drawing prize, endowed with €500 and a diploma for the winning drawing of the exhibition. (Prize awarded by the LORENZO DI MÉDICI Gallery and Josep Francés) Sixth. Resolution: The competent body for the resolution will be the Local Government Board. The maximum period to resolve will be six months from the publication of the call.
