Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Producers or filmmakers who own the rights to the works they present may participate. Second. Purpose Promote the province of Almería by reinforcing the historical links of this province with the industry and audiovisual culture. Third. Regulatory Bases Publication in the Official Gazette of the province of Almería, bulletin board on the website (www.dipalme.org) and on the website www.festivaldealmeria.com. Room. Amount The amount assigned to the call amounts to twenty-four thousand two hundred (24,200) euros intended for the granting of prizes that are subject to the applicable tax regulations. Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications The deadline for submission of registrations begins on the day following publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Almería and notice board (www.dipalme.org) and ends on August 7, 2023, inclusive. Sixth. Other information All short films of national and international production, shot on celluloid (35 mm or 16 mm formats) or on video in high definition or higher resolution, will be admitted to the competition. Its duration must not exceed 30 minutes (including credits). The production date must be after January 1, 2022. The Almería International Film Festival is held between November 17 and 26, 2023.
