Extract from the Resolution of the Secretary of State for Education, by which the II National Awards for Inspiring Educational Experiences for Learning 2023 are announced

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: To participate in this call Teachers from educational centers throughout the national territory, supported by public funds, who teach official non-university teachings and who have fully developed an Educational Experience, during the 2022-2023 academic year. And that they meet the following requirements: Have participated in the complete development of said Educational Experience. Be in any of the following situations, during the entire period of development of the Educational Experience, which is submitted to this call: Be a teaching official, in active service, of teachings regulated by Organic Law 3/2020, of December 29 (LOMLOE), on Education. Be a teaching official assigned to the Educational Action Programs Abroad of the Ministry of Education and Professional Training, providing direct teaching. Be teaching classes regulated by Organic Law 3/2020, of December 29 (LOMLOE), in a center supported by public funds. The experiences submitted to this call must have the following characteristics: They use free, digital Open Educational Resources that are in the Public Domain, or that are published with an open license that allows their reuse, modification and redistribution. That integrate digital technologies in a new way to improve the learning process of students. That contribute to the development of students' digital competence. That they can serve as inspiration for other educational centers to replicate and/or adapt to their context. Second. Purpose: 28 prizes distributed in 6 categories and 2 modalities are announced on a competitive basis. They will consist of a financial award for the person who has developed the awarded Educational Experience and an individual invitation to attend the awards ceremony for modality A. And a financial award, to be distributed equally among the members of the team (maximum 4) that presents the awarded Educational Experience, with two individual invitations to attend the awards ceremony for modality B. Third. Regulatory Bases: Order ECI/1305/2005, of April 20 (BOE of May 12), on regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies under a competitive competition regime. Room. Amount: The maximum amount allocated will be 121,100.00 euros. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days starting September 1, 2023. Sixth. Other information: A single application will be formalized per Educational Experience submitted for the award, both in modality A (individual) and in modality B (team). If done in the latter, only one of the participating teachers, considered as a representative of the team, will formalize both the request and the required documentation and the others will adhere to it. However, all will be considered applicants in this call and, therefore, will have to meet the indicated requirements. Each applicant may only submit a single Educational Experience to this call. In the event that a modality B team is made up of more than four participants, the application will be excluded. The team representative will be the reference contact for the purposes of subsequent communications with the National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training. Invitations to the ceremony will be considered aid in kind, the maximum amount of which will be 550 euros, which will include travel expenses, round trip from the place of origin to the place where the event is held, accommodation expenses for the winner, breakfast and promotional material. The prizes in individual mode will be €4,000 the maximum and €2,000 the minimum and in team mode the largest prize will be €5,000 with the smallest prize being €3,000 depending in both cases on the category.
