Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: They may apply for the Second Edition of the Càtedra de Dona i Esport awards for the best master's thesis related to gender equality in the field of physical activity and sport. Students of any official degree from Spanish Universities who have completed and approved their master's thesis on a topic related to gender equality, physical activity, exercise and/or sport in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 academic years. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to reward the best master's thesis (TFM) presented in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 courses at any Spanish university, and that are nominated for the II edition of the Cátedra Dona i Esport Awards of the University of Valencia. The content of the work must be oriented towards the theme of gender equality and physical activity, exercise and/or sport, carried out from any area of knowledge. The purpose of the award is to encourage university students to study any aspect related to gender equality in sports and physical activity. Third. Regulatory bases: The call is published at the following url: https://ir.uv.es/rOK2tBu Fourth. Amount: The awards are financed by chapter VII of the budget of the Chair of Gift and Sports of the University of Valencia for the year 2023, organic 9290162768 and specific 20220470, for an amount of two thousand euros (2,000€). The following prizes will be awarded: First prize: worth €1,000. Second prize: worth €600. A second prize: endowed with €400. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting works will be between the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana and September 15, 2023.
