Official description of the call
First. Purpose: To stimulate the educational experimentation that is carried out every day in the classrooms of our schools and institutes. The aim of the Department of Education of the Alzira City Council is to support the work, almost always silent, of many teachers determined to improve the teaching and training of our future generations, as well as to promote and support actions to promote and consolidate the reading habit. Second. Beneficiaries: All active teaching staff and support staff may participate, both individually and as a team (a group, a cycle, an area, all the center's teachers, etc.), who are part of the staff of public, subsidized or private educational or training centers, where Early Childhood Education, Primary, Secondary, Special Education, Adult Training or Specialized Education is taught in any population of the Valencian Community. Groups of mothers and fathers may also participate as long as the work presented is linked to the educational field. For the XVIII City of Alzira Reading Promotion Experiences Award 2023, in addition to the people already indicated, all those who work in a library in any municipality of the Valencian Community may be submitted, as well as reading animation groups and specialists who deem it appropriate, and groups of fathers and mothers as long as the work presented is linked to the educational field. Third. Regulatory bases: The Plenary Session of the Alzira City Council, in the session held on January 29, 2020, has definitively approved the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Alzira City Council, which contains the regulatory bases of the procedure for the granting of subsidies by this City Council, and the full text of the same has been published in the Official Gazette of the province of Valencia No. 29, dated February 12, 2020. Fourth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be from September 1 to October 27, 2023. Fifth.- Maximum total amount of the subsidies called: The maximum total amount of the subsidies called will be 3,200 euros, charged to budget applications 3267 48000 and 3321 48000, of the current Budget. The following prizes will be awarded: XXV “Ciutat d’Alzira” Educational Innovation Experiences Prize: Three prizes will be awarded based on the following modalities: Early Childhood and Primary Education Category. €800 Secondary Education Category. €800 Category of Special Education, EPA and Specialized Education. €800 18th “Ciutat d’Alzira” Reading Promotion Experiences Award: First prize. €800 Finalist: €600, awarded by the Bromera Foundation for the Promotion of Reading. Sixth.- Documentation: Together with the application model (www.alzira.es – models and applications), the report and annexes must be submitted. This procedure can be carried out in two ways: - In person by check-in at La Clau, c/Rambla 23, in this case 4 copies of both the report and the annexes must be presented. - Online, processing through the platform. In this case, the documents that are attached will have a maximum weight of 20 MB Seventh. Resolution: The competent body for the resolution will be the Local Government Board. The maximum period to resolve will be six months from the publication of the call.
