STUDY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR OFFICIAL IN-PRESENT, BLENDED AND DISTANCE STUDIES ON THE ISLAND OF FUERTEVENTURA, YEAR 2023/2024

Official description of the call

Extract from resolution No. 5815/2023 of the island councilor of the Area of ​​Water, Education and Youth, Primary Sector and Waste of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura dated September 6, 2023, which calls for study scholarships to carry out official face-to-face, blended and distance studies on the island of Fuerteventura, academic year 2023/2024. First. Beneficiaries and purpose. To be a beneficiary of the scholarships called for by this Resolution, it will be necessary to meet the basic requirements established in articles 2 and 27 of the regulatory bases, as well as the economic requirements of Chapter I of Title II and the academic requirements referred to in Chapter II of Title II. In addition to the specific requirements of this modality established in article 38 of the regulatory bases. The scholarship studies are the following: ¿ Face-to-face, blended and distance studies of ESO, Baccalaureate and FP. ¿Access courses and preparation courses for access tests to vocational training taught in public centers and in subsidized private centers that have authorized vocational training courses. ¿Preparation course for access to university for those over twenty-five years of age taught by public universities. ¿ Face-to-face, blended and distance university studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Second. Purpose. The purpose of these scholarships is to contribute to defraying the expenses involved in the acquisition of educational, didactic and/or technological material necessary for the correct development of the studies. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory Bases for scholarships and study aid of the Island Council of Fuerteventura, approved by the Plenary Session of the Island Council in an ordinary session held on May 5, 2022, published in the BOP of Las Palmas No. 55 dated May 9, 2022. Likewise, they are published on the corporation's website (www.cabildofuer.es). Room. Budget Credit. The budgetary credit with which the call will be met is conditioned on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the granting resolution, with a maximum total amount of 380,000.00 euros charged to the budgetary application 6240.3260U.481.01 (scholarships for studies on the island) of the current General Budget of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura. However, this amount may be increased by an additional amount of 2,000,000.00 euros, when, as a consequence of the occurrence of any of the circumstances provided for in letter a) of article 58.2 of the Regulation of the General Law of Subsidies, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, there is an increase in available credit before the final total granting of the scholarships called for by this Resolution. Fifth. Amount of scholarships. The amount according to the different modalities will be the following: ¿ Scholarships for carrying out face-to-face, blended and distance studies of ESO, Baccalaureate and FP on the island of Fuerteventura: from 5 total points, fixed amount: 200.00 euros. o Taking into account the points for family income, the following variable amount will be added to the 200.00 euros fixed amount:  5 income points: + 50.00 euros  6 income points: + 100.00 euros  7 income points: + 150.00 euros Scholarships for access courses and preparation courses for access tests to vocational training taught in public centers and in private centers subsidized courses that have authorized vocational training courses: from 5 total points, fixed amount: 100.00 euros. ¿Scholarships for a preparatory course for university access for those over twenty-five years of age taught by public universities: from 5 total points, fixed amount: 100.00 euros. Scholarships to carry out face-to-face, blended and distance university studies for undergraduate and postgraduate studies on the island of Fuerteventura: o 12 points: 1,200.00 euros o 11 points: 1,100.00 euros o 10 points: 1,000.00 euros o 9 points: 900.00 euros o 8 points: 800.00 euros o 7 points: 700.00 euros or 6 points: 600.00 euros or 5 points: 500.00 euros Sixth. Application submission deadline.
