Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Students in the last year of the Physics or Mathematics degree and students of the Advanced Physics master's degree, Astrophysics itinerary. Second. Purpose: Aid for initiation into research in astronomy and astrophysics. Third. Regulatory bases: The complete bases can be consulted on the website [Ayudas Astronomia signed Vicerectora.pdf (uv.es)] and in the National Subsidies Database, through the website [http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/es/index]. Room. Amount: The total amount of the call is 6,000 euros, which will be divided into four grants, the individual amount of which will be 1,500 euros. These scholarships are considered financial aid for training and will not be considered salaries or remuneration. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications is twenty business days from the day following the publication of the extract of this resolution in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana. Sixth. Other information: Along with the application, a research initiation project will be submitted, supervised by a professor or doctoral researcher from the department. The dedication is 225 hours, which will have to be carried out during the period corresponding to the 2023/2024 academic year.
