Official description of the call
The Local Government Board, in a session held on September 28, 2023, approved the following call: CALL FOR SUBSIDIES FOR THE NEW IMPLEMENTATION OF COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENTS LOCATED IN THE COMMERCIAL AXIS OF THE CALONGE NUCLEUS FOR THE YEAR 2023 Beneficiaries The beneficiaries of these subsidies will be the people who own business activities that implement new commercial establishments, restaurants, services (excluding financial institutions), traditional activities and crafts in the premises located in the streets of the old town of Calonge (C. La Rutlla, C. Àngel Guimerà, Plaza Mayor and C. Mayor). Object The object of the call is the regulation of the granting of subsidies for the new implementation of commercial establishments located in the commercial axis of the center of Calonge. The granting of these subsidies is carried out on a competitive basis. Regulatory bases The BOP of Girona number 98 of May 23, 2022 publishes the edict of the final approval of the specific bases that regulate the granting of the subsidy for the new implementation of commercial establishments located in the commercial axis of the Calonge nucleus. Requirements that beneficiaries must meet and documentation that they must provide Any natural or legal person, for-profit or non-profit, owner of the business activity and who meets the following requirements may be beneficiaries of these subsidies. a) That the applicant for the aid has the establishment in the territorial scope delimited in the bases b) That the activity carried out is covered by a license or, where appropriate, prior communication, if they are mandatory. If the beneficiary has not obtained the license at the time of the request, he or she will attach a copy of the request to the town hall with the entry record, providing it at the time of justification. c) The beneficiary must express the commitment to start the new economic activity during the 2023 year or to have already started it during the year. Applications will not be accepted for activities started in previous years, given that these subsidies are not retroactive. d) That the new activity remains active and open for a minimum period of one year that will be counted from the start of the activity with the corresponding license or prior communication, as appropriate. e) If the same entrepreneur is the owner of business activities located in more than one establishment included in the eligible area, he/she may only request a subsidy for one activity. f) Not being included in any of the circumstances included in article 13.2 and 13.3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, and in particular, being up to date in compliance with their tax obligations with the State Treasury (AEAT) and with the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS). This requirement must be met from the date of submission of the application until the date of payment of the subsidy, if applicable. g) Not have outstanding debt with the Calonge and Sant Antoni City Council. This requirement must be met from the date of submission of the application until the date of payment of the subsidy, if applicable. h) Have justified any subsidy that has been previously granted by the Calonge and Sant Antoni City Council, provided that the corresponding justification period has ended. Application and documentation The application must be submitted using the standardized application model to obtain the subsidies regulated in these bases and will be available on the municipal website at the following link: www.calongeisantantoni.cat along with the call, which must include: • Name, surname and NIF of the applicant. • Responsible declaration, detailing the location of the property in which the activity or project will be carried out and compliance with the requirements, referring to the corresponding date. • That all the information contained in the application and the accompanying documents is true. • That it complies with and accepts the current general regulations governing the aid granted by the Calonge and Sant Antoni City Council and all the requirements demanded in the bases and the call to request and grant these aids. • That it is up to date with compliance with tax obligations,
