Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Xeraco students who, having completed the baccalaureate, the University entrance test or a module of a medium or higher degree cycle of Vocational Training, as well as a professional degree in Music or an access test to the Higher Degree in Music, have enrolled in the current 2023-2024 academic year in undergraduate university studies, in higher cycles of Vocational Training, or the Higher Degree in Music, and also meet the following requirements, will be eligible for the aid provided for in these bases: · Be registered continuously in Xeraco since before January 1, 2022. Compliance with this requirement will be verified ex officio when the application is submitted to the Xeraco City Council Registry. · Be enrolled for the 2023-2024 academic year, for the first time, either in undergraduate university studies or higher cycles of Vocational Training, or Higher Degree in Music. · Not having requested or received any of these aids previously, whether in the option of undergraduate university studies or in the option of higher cycles of Vocational Training, or the Higher Degree in Music. · That they are up to date with their tax obligations with the Xeraco City Council, the State Tax Administration Agency and the General Treasury of Social Security. - In the event that the beneficiaries are minors, documentation from their parents or legal guardians must be provided. - If the beneficiaries are of legal age, they must provide theirs in the name of the interested party. · That they do not fall into some of the circumstances established in art. 13.2 of the LGS. Since these aids are specifically to promote the continuity of secondary studies (baccalaureate, entrance exam or intermediate cycle) in higher education, this call does not include aid for other studies other than those indicated in it, that is, it does not include courses other than the first of the cycle or degree in question, nor third cycle or doctorate, nor specialization studies nor studies leading to obtaining university degrees. Second. Purpose The purpose of these rules is to regulate the regime and procedure applicable for the granting of aid in competitive competition, by the Xeraco City Council, in favor of Xeraco students who, having completed their high school studies, entrance exam to the University, a module of a medium or higher degree cycle of Vocational Training, or a professional degree in music, want to begin higher studies in the 2023-2024 academic year, both for university degree studies or higher cycles of vocational training, or higher degree in music. Third. Regulatory bases. The Bases and the call for subsidies have been approved by mayoral resolution no. 997/2023, dated September 29, 2023. The full text of the call and its annexes are available to interested parties on the Xeraco City Council website: www.xeraco.es. Room. Amount. Aid will be granted in the amount of 400 euros each. The 2023 municipal budget regarding complementary education services includes an application of a total of 19,200 euros charged to item 3260-48000 "Teaching. Scholarships". Fifth. Application submission deadline. The applications, according to the official model, will be addressed to the mayor president of the Xeraco City Council, by presentation in the City Hall Entry Registry, or by any of the means indicated in article 16.4 of Law 39/2016, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, within a period of 10 days counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia.
