Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3, letter b) and 20.8, letter a), of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the calls is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/es/index). First: Object. The actions provided for in Subaction III.2.4 "Aid for the importation of calves for fattening provided for in the Community Program to Support Agricultural Production of the Canary Islands (POSEI) intended for the introduction of calves for fattening in the Canary Islands to allow the fattening of calves under the same conditions as in any EU territory will be subject to subsidy under this call. Second: Beneficiaries. Beef farmers. of bait that acquire calves outside the Canary Islands for fattening and that meet the other requirements provided for in the third resolution of the Call Order. Third: Regulatory bases. Order of November 28, 2017 approving the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the measures that make up the Community Program to Support Agricultural Productions in the Canary Islands (POSEI) (BOC No. 233 of 12/04/2017), modified by the Order of September 29, 2022 (BOC No. 203 of 10/13/2022). Fourth: The amounts of aid are as follows: Animals destined for farms located on the islands of Gran Canaria and Tenerife: 238 euros per calf. euros per calf. Fifth: Application submission period. Applications for aid with the animals planned to be introduced will be submitted within the following deadlines: a) First submission period: from December 1 to 15, 2023, for calves to be imported between January 1, 2024 and May 31, 2024. b) Second period: from May 1 to 15, 2024, for calves to be imported. import between June 1, 2024 and October 16, 2024.
