First. Object. The call for subsidies intended for conversation assistants selected by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training for educational centers supported by public funds of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura in the 2023/2024 academic year. All of this in accordance with the provisions of the regulatory bases of these subsidies established in the Order of September 2, 2022, which establishes the regulatory bases of the subsidies granted to conversation assistants destined for educational centers supported with public funds of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. This provision of conversation assistants will take place during the period of the 2023/2024 school year, from October 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024. Second. Granting procedure. The subsidy called is unique, given that the beneficiaries are selected by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training through a competitive process and take the form of a direct concession by open call through a resolution of the Ministry responsible for education, in application of article 22.2 of Law 6/2011, of March 23, on Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, for reasons of public, social and economic interest. since it is intended to contribute to the improvement of educational quality in non-university education through the provision of conversation assistants in educational centers supported by public funds. Third. Budget provision and credit. 1. The provision of this direct subsidy amounts to a maximum monthly amount, as aid for subsistence and accommodation allowance, in the amount of 935.00 euros per conversation assistant, whose weekly schedule will be 16 hours. This aid will be paid monthly, by transfer, during the validity of the conversation assistant program for the 2023/2024 school year, which will not begin before October 1 of the current year nor will it end after May 31 of the following year. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the aforementioned maximum monthly amount may be reduced proportionally, where appropriate, when unjustified absences occur, in the terms expressed in the articles of the regulatory bases and the call resolution. 2. The total cost that compliance with these obligations will entail for the Ministry of Education, Science and Vocational Training during the 2023/2024 academic year will amount to a maximum of eight hundred eight thousand seven hundred and seventy-five euros (€808,775.00), with the following distribution by annuities and budget application: FUND: AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY OF EXTREMADURA. BUDGET APPLICATION: 130020000/G/222G/48000/CAG0000001/20060137 Annuity 2023: €294,525.00 Annuity 2024: €514,250.00 Fourth. Beneficiaries and requirements 1. The beneficiaries of this subsidy will be the conversation assistants selected by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training in accordance with the annual resolution by which positions for foreign conversation assistants are announced. 2. Beneficiaries must effectively join the awarded centers on the first school day of the month that appears in their appointment, unless exceptionally, by authorization from the competent service of the General Secretariat of Education and Vocational Training, incorporation is permitted on a date after the first day of the month. Any unjustified delay in the possible incorporation will cause the incorporation date and the effects of receiving the subsidy to be postponed, in accordance with what is regulated in the regulatory bases and in the call. 3. Be up to date with your tax obligations with the State and Social Security, as well as the absence of any debt pending payment with the Autonomous Community of Extremadura.
