Official description of the call

FIRST. PURPOSE OF THE CALL The Schools and Faculties of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) maintain various exchange agreements with universities within the European framework of the Erasmus+ program for the implementation of Combined Intensive Programmes, hereinafter “BIPs” (from English Blended Intensive Programmes). BIPs are programs that promote collaboration between partner universities for the creation of an educational project that combines collaborative online teaching/learning among the students of these universities with a short-term mobility period. This call aims to provide funding to UPV students who have been admitted by the Erasmus+ partner institution to take a BIP during the period of validity of the Erasmus+ project granted to the UPV 2023-1-ES01-KA131-HED-000125722, between June 1, 2023 and July 31, 2025. SECOND. BUDGET CREDIT AND AMOUNT OF AID This call for scholarships will be financed from budget item 099703741/541/68300/20230741 of the International Exchange Programs Office in the 2023 budget year for a maximum amount of 150,000.00 euros. The maximum total amount and the granting of aid will be conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit in the budget of the Universitat Politècnica de València in the year 2023. The beneficiary students will receive a daily amount in accordance with the financing rules for short-term physical mobility for students established by the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE) for the projects of the 2023 call, which is established at 79 euros/day. Regardless of the actual duration of the stay, which will be determined by the Erasmus+ partner institution, a maximum of 5 days of stay will be financed. An additional 2 days of funding will be added to the trip. There is additional help for “Students with fewer opportunities”. THIRD. RECIPIENTS These scholarships are aimed at students with an official degree from the Universitat Politècnica de València who meet the participation requirements of the call. QUARTER. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: Applications to participate in this call will be submitted through the call management system of the AIRE application. The presentation of the application implies acceptance of the bases of the call. The deadline for submitting applications on the AIRE platform will be open from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana DOGV until May 31, 2025, with seven resolution periods.
