RULES AND CALL FOR SUBSIDIES FOR STRATEGIC LINE A OF THE STRATEGIC SUBSIDY PLAN OF THE MARRATXÍ CITY COUNCIL (SPORTS) FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2023

Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. The following may apply for subsidies: A) Non-profit sports entities, clubs and associations domiciled in the municipality, registered in the registry of sports entities of the General Directorate of Sports of the Balearic Government and registered as member clubs of a Sports Federation. B) Natural persons with a valid federal license and with residence in our municipality for a minimum of two years continuously. The following will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiaries of the subsidy: - Individual athletes who practice a collective sport, who belong to a club registered in the municipal registry of entities of Marratxí, and this is a beneficiary of the subsidies intended for sports clubs, with the exception of cases that reliably prove individualized participation in an official competition (regulated by the corresponding federation) of regional, national (Spanish championship in its category) or higher level. - For the purposes of this subsidy, referees and sports coaches will not be considered athletes. - When the amount of the subsidy requested is an amount that, alone or in conjunction with other subsidies, aid, income or resources, exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to encourage, through the granting of subsidies, the carrying out of sports activities by individual athletes of the municipality and entities located in the municipality of Marratxí that, being part of the municipal competition, benefit the citizens through their participation in competitions included in the official calendars of the corresponding federation in which they are involved, thus helping to defray part of the expenses that these cause. Third. Regulatory bases. General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Marratxí City Council. Room. Amount. The total amount to be awarded for this call is €68,600 (budget application 341.00.48000 for current expenditure and 341.00.78000 for investment expenditure with a limit of €6,000) of which €55,600 are allocated to sports entities or associations, with a maximum of €7,000 per entity or association, and €13,000 goes to individual athletes, with a maximum of €1,200 per athlete. Fifth. Application submission deadline. It will be TEN WORKING DAYS counting from the day after the publication of these bases on the municipal website.
