Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. People who meet the following requirements may apply for these grants: 1 Be a doctoral student at UCLM. Research staff in training hired by FPI and Marie Curie calls will not be able to participate in this call. Students funded by FPU programs of the Ministry of Universities may apply for this aid as long as they have participated in the mobility calls specific to their call and have been denied. It will have to be justified documentaryly. 2 Prove that you are enrolled in any of the official UCLM doctoral programs in the second year or later of academic supervision in the 2023-24 academic year, and during the period in which the research stay takes place. 3. Not having completed a predoctoral stay abroad prior to submitting the application for this call, of a duration equal to or greater than 3 months. 4 Not being in possession of a doctorate degree on the end date of the stay. 5 Not having been a beneficiary of aid to carry out predoctoral stays in foreign Universities and Research Centers for UCLM doctoral students. Second. Object. Financial aid is provided to stimulate collaboration and mobility of UCLM doctoral students with foreign Universities or Research Centers with the aim of encouraging doctoral theses presented by UCLM doctoral students to obtain the “International Doctorate” Mention. The carrying out of research stays, of a minimum of one month and a maximum of 3 months in duration, in prestigious international centers by UCLM doctoral students for the development of projects related to the topic of their doctoral thesis will be financed. The project to be developed by doctoral students may consist of basic research work, strategic research, applied research, experimental development or knowledge transfer, including innovation and advisory capacity, knowledge management and intellectual property rights and the exploitation of research results. Stays can be carried out from the day after the publication of the final resolution granting this call until December 31, 2024. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory bases that form part of the full text of the call. Room. Amount of aid. The budget for this call amounts to 100,000 euros. The gross amount of each aid will be 1,000 euros/month (exempt from personal income tax). In addition, it will be complemented with a travel bag of €300 for a European destination and €600 for a non-European destination. The participant will receive the aforementioned aid in two installments, 80% of the aid at the beginning of the stay, when the participant sends the proof of arrival signed by the host institution to the Vice-Rector for Scientific Policy, and the remaining 20% upon returning from the stay, when the participant delivers the documents required in section 8.3 of the rules of the full text of the call. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha. Sixth. Other data. The aid amounts are compatible with remuneration in the form of salaries, in the terms provided for by current legislation. Applications will be submitted through the following link: https://convocatorias.rrhh.uclm.es/convocatorias.aspx?c=14035 The application form must be accompanied by the following documentation: 1 Invitation letter from the head of the receiving Department or Center. 2 Report, with a maximum length of two pages, of the project that is intended to be developed during the period of the stay and approval of the thesis director. 3 Responsible declaration signed by the applicant, indicating not having completed a predoctoral stay abroad prior to submitting the application for this call, of a duration equal to or greater than 3 months. 4 Curriculum Vitae of the applicant, introducing the merits to be assessed according to Annex I, which must be documented.
