Official description of the call
Likewise, the call can be consulted at the electronic headquarters of the Administration of the Community of Castilla y León (https://www.tramitacastillayleon.jcyl.es) using the BDNS identifier and on the Education Portal of the Government of Castilla y León (http://www.educa.jcyl.es/universidad). First. Beneficiaries. 1. Students who, at the end of the application submission period, meet the following general requirements may be beneficiaries of these aids: a) Be enrolled in a public or private university in Castilla y León during the 2023-2024 academic year. b) Take courses leading to obtaining official university degree or master's degrees. c) Not being in possession of or meeting the legal requirements to obtain a degree of the same or higher level than that corresponding to the official university education for which aid is requested. Notwithstanding the provisions of this section c), those who are in possession of an official degree that has been assigned to level 3 (master) of the Spanish Framework of Qualifications for Higher Education (MECES), or in possession of an official title of architect, engineer, graduate, technical architect, technical engineer or diploma that has obtained correspondence with level 3 (master) of the MECES, may be beneficiaries of aid to take official university education leading to obtaining a university master's degree. d) Have been a beneficiary of the tuition scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year, for students pursuing post-compulsory studies, convened by the Resolution of March 15, 2023, of the Secretary of State for Education. 2. Likewise, in order to be a beneficiary of these aids, students who request them must meet the requirement of being registered in a municipality of Castilla y León. Second. Object. 1. Call for, on a competitive basis, study aid for students pursuing university studies at a public or private university in Castilla y León during the 2023-2024 academic year, in the following modalities and for the following recipients: a) Academic benefit for students taking second and subsequent courses of official university degree courses and for those taking official university master's degree courses. b) Income for students of all official university degree courses. 2. Aid for carrying out special regime teaching, studies corresponding to a doctorate, courses to adapt to the degree (training complements), as well as specialization courses and university degrees are expressly excluded from the scope of application of this call. Third. Regulatory bases. Order EDU/1268/2023, of November 6, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of study aid to students pursuing university studies in the Community of Castilla y León (published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León No. 217, of November 13) Fourth. Amount. The maximum overall amount of the credit assigned to these aids will be FOUR MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€4,800,000), distributed as follows: a) TWO MILLION SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND EUROS (€2,650,000) intended to finance the academic achievement modality. b) TWO MILLION ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND EUROS (€2,150,000) destined to finance the rental modality. For the academic achievement modality, the aid for each beneficiary may not, in any case, be less than one euro (€1) nor more than ten euros (€10) per credit passed in the 2022/2023 academic year. For the income modality, the aid for each beneficiary may not be less than one hundred euros (€100) nor more than three hundred and fifty euros (€350). Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty business days counting from the day following the publication of this extract of the order in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León.
