Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Assistance may be requested for lecturers who are doctoral professors of recognized national or international prestige, from Spanish or foreign Universities or Research Centers. They may request assistance for their participation in any of the Official University Master's Degrees of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, or in the last two courses of those degree degrees that are assigned to level 3 (Master) of the Spanish Framework of Qualifications for Higher Education (MECES), as established in the Royal Decree. 96/2014, of February 14. Professionals of recognized prestige with a qualification equivalent to MECES 3 level, with extensive professional experience, from Spanish or international Organizations or Entities and demonstrable professional experience in the subject to be taught of the Master of at least 5 years, may only request aid for their participation in the professional Master's Degrees of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. For research Masters, applications can be submitted for conferences by doctoral professors with research experience in the subject to be taught. The staff of the University of Castilla-La Mancha is expressly excluded from this call. Second. Object. Financial aid is provided to promote the presence of lecturers through grants for teaching stays in the official University Master's Degrees of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, from doctoral professors and professionals of recognized national and international prestige, from Spanish and foreign Universities, Research Centres, Organizations or Entities with qualifications equivalent to MECES 3 level. The conferences will have a clear teaching content. This action seeks to reinforce the teaching activity in Official University Master's Degrees of the University of Castilla - La Mancha, through the teaching contributions of professors with doctors and professionals of recognized prestige. The aid from this call will be used to subsidize conferences held during the teaching period established by the academic calendar of the University of Castilla-La Mancha for the entire year 2024. Conferences must have a minimum duration of 1 hour and a maximum of 5 hours. Under this call, any other type of expenses that may arise such as travel expenses, accommodation, maintenance, etc. cannot be processed. The conferences must be related to teaching activities of subjects in an Official UCLM Master's Degree, conferences for conferences, conferences, symposiums, etc. will not be eligible for this call. Conferences may be held in person in the classroom or virtually. For each Master's Degree, several grants may be requested, with those of greatest interest being prioritized by the Master's Academic Committee. Only one aid may be requested per lecturer during the period established in section 3 of this call. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory bases that form part of the full text of the call. Room. Amount of aid. The budget for this call amounts to 25,000 euros. The gross amount of aid per conference is established at 125 euros for the first hour and 75 euros per hour taught in person in the classroom. The amount of aid for each conference given virtually is set at 100 euros for the first hour and 50 euros for the rest of the hours taught virtually. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The call will have two periods for submitting applications depending on the dates on which the stay takes place: a) From November 13, 2024, to November 30, 2024, for stays that take place from January to May 2024. b) From May 2 to 31, 2024, for stays that take place from September to December 2024. Sixth. Other data. The request must include a report from the Coordinator of the Official Master's Degree for which the conference is requested, which includes a brief summary of the lecturer's CV.
