Official description of the call

Regulation. The contest will be governed by the regulatory rules published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias on November 7, 2023. Participants. Students who are studying the first to fourth year of ESO, from public or subsidized centers in the Council of Mieres, may apply. By the mere fact of participating, the contestants acknowledge that they are the authors of the phrases, which will not be returned. Participation in the contest entails the free transfer of the economic and intellectual property rights over the phrases, whether they are winners or not, in favor of the Mieres City Council for their exploitation in any format or medium. The aforementioned transfer is made for the purposes of its non-profit exploitation and aimed at the development of actions and actions related to the prevention and awareness against sexist violence. Formal requirements. The phrases must be original and the theme will be exclusively dedicated to raising awareness and rejecting sexist violence. Each participant will be able to send several phrases. The topic will be Violence against women. The length of the sentences may not exceed 150 characters, they must promote awareness against sexist violence and express social denunciation, rejection and rejection of these forms of violence against women. Texts must be spelled and grammatical correct. The originality, style, writing and impact of the message will be valued. Under no circumstances will phrases containing expressions that may be degrading or insulting be accepted in the contest. Form and deadline for submission. The sentences may not bear the author's real name visibly. They can be submitted in person at the Women's Advisory Center, through the email sonia@ayto-mieres.es, or by certified mail to the address: Women's Advisory Center, Casa de las Mujeres, C/ Jerónimo Ibrán 19, Bajo, 33600 Mieres, in an envelope without a return address or under a pseudonym, attaching inside the escrow or envelope containing the real information of the author: Name and surname, place and date of birth, full address, contact telephone number and email address, as well as the name of the educational center where they carry out their studies. The deadline for submitting the sentences will be ten business days from the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias. No work received after said date will be accepted. Awards. There will be only one category. The recognition-prize for the winners will be the publication of the phrases as a motto for November 25 and their dissemination on social networks, publications and materials prepared by the City Council. There will be a prize for all participants, consisting of a 64 GB USB memory, with a maximum value of 3,717.47 euros.
