Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries All teaching staff who are active on the closing date for submitting applications, with full-time dedication at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (civil servants, contracted PhD professors, contracted interim PhD professors, collaborating professors, PhD assistant professors and assistants), and postdoctoral researchers from competitive calls may apply for these grants (Ramón & Cajal, Beatriz Galindo, Marie Curie, Juan de la Cierva and UCLM's Own Plan and access to SECTI), and that they meet the rest of the requirements of the call. Second. Purpose: Financial aid is provided to strengthen consolidated and emerging research groups in accordance with the RIS3 Specialization Strategy of Castilla-La Mancha for the different lines of research through complementary financing that allows the formation of international networks of researchers to promote excellent research by carrying out stays in other research centers. The aid consists of a travel fund and a monthly allowance. The maximum modules depending on the category of the applicant, the country of the destination center and the duration of the stay are published in Annex IV of the call. Third. The maximum modules depending on the category of the applicant, the country of the destination center and the duration of the stay are published in Annex IV of the full text of the call. 70% of the total amount of the aid will be advanced one month before the start date of the stay. The remaining 30% of the total amount of the aid is conditional on compliance with the results stated in the ninth base of the call. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications Two periods are contemplated for submitting applications: 1.- For stays whose start date is between January 15, 2024 and June 30, 2024, the deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha. 2.- For stays whose start date is between July 1 and December 31, 2024, the deadline for submitting applications will be from April 1 to April 30, 2024. Sixth. Other information: Applicants will attach to their application the documentation in electronic, scanned format, which is determined in the call and detailed below: a) Invitation letter from the head of the department or center of the destination university or research center. b) Report from the department, signed by its director, proving the scientific or academic interest of the stay and the fulfillment of the applicant's teaching obligations during his or her absence. This report must necessarily be signed by the dean or director of the center to which the applicant is assigned (annex I of the full text of the call). c) Request for permission addressed to the vice-rector for Teaching and Professional Development, duly completed and signed by the dean or director of the center and by the director of the department to which the applicant is assigned. The model for said application is included in Annex II of the full text of the call. d) Responsible declaration of not having obtained any aid or scholarship of any other type for the development of the stay requested. The model is attached as Annex III of the full text of the call.
